You’ll work primarily in lower-level languages such as C++ and C#, building and testing systems across perception, computer vision, sensor fusion, and edge machine learning. This is an opportunity to work on real products and challenging technical problems at the intersection of software, AI, and hardware.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, test, and debug C++ and C# software for edge and hardware-integrated systems.\n\nContribute to systems involving perception, computer vision, sensor fusion, or edge ML.\n\nBuild and evaluate software on real hardware, diagnose issues, and improve system performance and reliability.\n\nCollaborate with software, hardware, and other engineering teams to bring features from development through testing and deployment.\n\nRequirements\nCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\nAvailable to work 40 hours per week in our San Jose, CA office during Summer 2027.\n\nStrong programming experience in C++, C#, or another lower-level programming language, with a willingness to work close to hardware.\n\nStrong interest in at least one of perception, computer vision, sensor fusion, or edge machine learning.\n\nU.S. Person eligible to work on Rivet’s programs and technology.\n\nCompensation may vary within the posted range based on relevant experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors.
