You will foster a safe working environment, maintain organized cleanliness, and provide feedback on improvement opportunities.\nThe shift hours for this role will be 8:00am to 4:30pm Eastern Time, with potential overtime and weekend hours.\nPlease note, this is a proactive job posting, which allows us to build a pipeline of qualified candidates who we can consider for future openings. You will be contacted if a position matching your qualifications becomes available.\nResponsibilities\nLoad and unload delivery vehicles\n\nRepackage materials to meet the distribution requirements for Service Parts\n\nOperate several types of powered equipment (forklift, stock chaser, etc.)\n\nIdentify inventory concerns based on quantity or quality discrepancies\n\nProvide input into safety, quality, and throughput opportunities\n\nUnderstand and utilize standard work\n\nMaintain the proper use of equipment\n\nSupport general material handling request from leadership and team members\n\nParticipate in group efforts to foster an environment based on continuous improvement\n\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred\n\n2-4 years of experience performing picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operating in a Warehouse or Distribution Center environment (preferred)\n\nPrior experience in a warehouse environment (automotive preferred)\n\nPrevious stand-up forklift experience and ability to operate up to seven hours per day (Stand-Up Raymond MHE preferred)\n\nPhysical requirement to step-up and down off of MHE multiple times repetitively\n\nComfortable with operating an order picker (Cherry Picker) above floor level\n\nAbility to understand tasks and responsibilities\n\nKnowledge of LEAN practices (5s, Identify Waste, Process Improvements)\n\nLed or participated in a continuous improvement project\n\nBasic computer skills with working knowledge in Microsoft Office\n\nExperience and understanding of utilizing a RF hand-held scanner\n\nUnderstanding and compliant to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines\n\nAbility to stand for 8-12 hours per day\n\nFrequent use of hands to handle cumbersome or odd-shaped materials up to 50 lbs.\n\nRequired to stoop and kneel to retrieve materials up to 50 lbs. under select racking or floor pile locations\n\nRequired to communicate using telephone or email\n\nAbility to view, read, and interpret documents, safety rules, and standard operating procedures\n\nAbility to repetitively lift and carry up to 50 lbs.\n\nAbility to perform all duties in the warehouse that may contain dust, high noise, hot and cold weather\n\nCommitment to work a flexible schedule, requiring individuals to arrive early or to stay later than assigned standard working hours; accommodating the business as needed\n\nPay Disclosure\nThe salary range for this role is $23.50/hr for Kentucky based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
