be doing\nIndependent supply chain coordination of the electronic components and embedded systems of our robots,conduct technical review/QA directly with suppliers.\n\nIndependent Testing and trouble shooting of power electronics, digital electronics (PCBA validation), firmware, communication protocols, and interfaces on robots.\n\nFunctional calibration and test bench development and set up.\n\nCollaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electronics into mechanical assemblies.\n\nIdentify, evaluate, select, and manage suppliers for electrical components and subassemblies.\n\nWork closely with suppliers for the transfer of designs and technical documentation.\n\nPerform thorough testing and troubleshooting of electronic and embedded systems.\n\nSupport continuous improvement cycles across assembly, testing, and deployment phases.\n\nDocument processes, test results, and improvements to ensure traceability and knowledge sharing.\n\nCoordinate with the Zurich R&D team and local suppliers to implement design updates quickly and reliably.\n\nSupport design improvements and iteration in the context of manufacturability.\n\nWhat you must have\nMaster’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Embedded Systems.\n\n5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical system development, testing, and low-volume manufacturing.\n\nExperience in setting up functional benches for electronic components.\n\nGenerate test bench’s test script and test plan.\n\nExperience in the testing, and integration of PCBAs for embedded or robotic systems.\n\nStrong trouble-shooting skills for embedded hardware and firmware.\n\nFamiliarity with power distribution, motor controllers, sensors, and communication protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.).\n\nFamiliarity with ROS, embedded Linux, or microcontroller platforms (e.g., STM32, ESP32, etc.).\n\nFamiliarity with AI tools that lift work productivity.\n\nProven track record of working with external suppliers.\n\nExperience with quality control and validation of electrical components and assemblies.\n\nStrong adaptability and comfort with frequent iteration and evolving designs.\n\nStrong communication skill and ability to work in a dynamic team environment.\n\nFluent in Mandarin and English to effectively navigate local and international interactions\n\nGet some bonus points\nExperience in the robotic, automotive, Semi-conductor, and consumer electronics sector.\n\nExperience in startups or fast-paced product development environments.\n\nExperience with compliance testing (EMC, safety, etc.) for robotic or embedded
