You'll collaborate with business and technology partners, explore opportunities for automation, and contribute to innovative solutions that support our mission of ending poverty through financial empowerment.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild & Optimize Data Pipelines: Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes that transform data from multiple sources into reliable, accessible information.\nDevelop Data Solutions: Write and optimize SQL queries, support data modeling, and help maintain efficient data infrastructure and data warehouses.\nEnsure Data Quality: Monitor data accuracy, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and help maintain the integrity and reliability of information used throughout the organization.\nCreate Meaningful Insights: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Amazon QuickSight to help teams understand and act on data.\nDrive Innovation & Efficiency: Identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve processes, and enhance how we collect, manage, and use data.\nCollaborate Across Teams: Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements into practical data solutions, and support data-driven decision-making.\nShare Knowledge: Document solutions, support end users, and help team members make the most of our reporting and analytics tools.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're looking for someone who's technically capable, naturally curious, eager to learn, and excited about using data to solve real business challenges.\nYour Background & Technical Skills:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.\n1-3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database engineering.\nStrong SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.\nExperience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines and working with data warehouses.\nProficiency with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Amazon QuickSight.\nFamiliarity with data lakes, cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and data governance practices.\nExperience in financial services is strongly preferred.\nFamiliarity with Python or R is a plus!\nWhat Will Help You Succeed:\nYou're a problem-solver who enjoys digging into data, identifying patterns, and finding better ways to get things done.\nYou're curious and eager to learn, staying interested in emerging technologies and new approaches to data engineering.\nYou have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate, reliable work.\nYou're a collaborative communicator who can explain technical concepts and data insights to non-technical audiences.\nYou're self-motivated and adaptable, comfortable managing competing priorities and working independently in a remote environment.\nYou bring fresh ideas and an innovative mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve processes and create value.\nWhy Join Rize?\nAt Rize Credit Union, we're more than a financial institution. Actual compensation is determined by experience, education, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.\nAs part of the hiring process, candidates who receive a contingent offer will undergo a background investigation, which may include employment verification, credit review, criminal records search, Social Security verification, and government registry checks.
