Will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Provides excellent customer service, maintains professionalism, and ensures appropriate and detail records for time, parts, supplies, purchases and repairs.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nPrevious experience doing maintenance on industrial equipment and strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nRepair and perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC repairs such as replace control devices, switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. as needed \nPerform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments in a timely fashion.\nFabrication and modification of new and existing equipment.\nTroubleshootand repairdefective equipment including CNC Machinery, Presses, Plasma Cutters, etc.\nGather and maintain a complete set of required tools, including calipers, electrical meters and other diagnostic and measurement devices. \nUtilize diagnostic tools and techniques to define problem areas and assist with resolution. \nRecommend improvements and/or changes to PM systems/tasks when applicable\nFollow standard practices and all governmental regulations and laws relating to powered equipment. Train team members on set up, lock out, and operation fabrication equipment.\nAdhere to all safety policies and procedures and participate in safety programs to improve operational uptime and equipment life.\nPrefer background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC and overall machine troubleshooting skills.\nFamiliarity with industrial tools and equipment\nOther duties as assigned\nAccountability:\nComply with all company policies and procedures. \nAll employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected. \nRK Mechanical employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of RK Mechanical Orientation, shop specific orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification and Reporting, and OSHA 30. \nMinimum Physical Requirements:\nWork outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas. \nWork in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations. \nClimb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch. \nWork in all types of weather. \nMust have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools. \nAbility to lift, move, and/or carry 50 lbs. \nAbility to climb up and down and maintain balance on stairs, ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools and equipment.\nAbility to use arms and hands to reach, handle or manipulate and install heavy objects and materials.\nProfessional Career Level:\nFully competent in all conventional aspects of subject matter or functional area.\nPlans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation/modification of standards. \nDevises new solutions to problems encountered.\nIndependently performs most assignments with instruction\nReceives guidance for unusual or complex problems and supervisor approval for changes in standards. \nHigh School diploma, GED or vocational training/certification.\n3 years experience on the same or similar industry.\nBonus Skillset: Background in Robotics\nApplications are accepted on an ongoing basis.\nRK Industries, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
