In this role, you'll support daily production planning, coordinate fabrication schedules, and help optimize workflow throughout the shop.\nWorking closely with the Shop Superintendent, Project Managers, Purchasing, and Field Operations, you'll help align materials, labor, production sequences, and delivery schedules with project requirements. Your attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement will help keep fabrication operations efficient, productive, and focused on customer satisfaction.\nWith RK's in-house fabrication, manufacturing, and construction capabilities, you'll be part of an integrated team bringing complex projects to life.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport the Shop Superintendent with daily production planning and scheduling to ensure fabricated products meet or exceed customer requirements\nCoordinate fabrication schedules and update production forecasts to optimize workflow and batch flow through the shop\nCollaborate with Purchasing to coordinate material procurement based on fabrication sequences, construction schedules, and shop requirements\nReview sequencing plans, budgeted hours, fabrication requirements, and delivery dates to support efficient production\nEnter production sequences into internal scheduling systems and develop work orders for fabrication\nMaintain and update the Global Shop Solutions scheduling database to support accurate production planning\nVerify estimated hours are reflected in production sequence plans and coordinate with Operations to address discrepancies\nInterpret blueprints and specifications to recommend process improvements and identify potential cost impacts\nTrack and analyze shop productivity, establish production rates, and share findings with the Shop Superintendent\nWhat You Bring\nRelevant experience in production planning, scheduling, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field\nAbility to coordinate multiple schedules, material requirements, and production priorities\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines and established budgets\nAbility to interpret blueprints, specifications, and production sequencing plans\nExperience with production scheduling software and database maintenance; Global Shop Solutions experience is beneficial\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to review productivity data and recommend process improvements\nStrong communication and teamwork skills when working with shop personnel, Purchasing, Project Managers, and Field Operations\nAbility to exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and make recommendations while working within established procedures\nCommitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement\nWhy Build Your Career at RK\nBuild bigger.
