Deliver excellence.\nProject Foremen are the driving force behind successful field execution, leading crews, coordinating resources, and ensuring HVAC systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.\nAt RK Mechanical, you'll lead commercial mechanical construction projects from the field, partnering with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, and trade partners to drive project success. You'll oversee manpower, planning, material coordination, safety, quality, and day-to-day execution while helping develop the next generation of skilled craft professionals.\nThis is an opportunity to expand your leadership impact on complex HVAC projects while building a clear path toward General Foreman and Superintendent roles.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead HVAC field crews and coordinate daily work activities to maintain safety, productivity, quality, and schedule commitments.\nAssign manpower, mentor apprentices, and support workforce development.\nReview drawings, specifications, and project requirements to plan and execute work effectively.\nOversee layout, installation, and commissioning support for HVAC systems, ductwork, and mechanical equipment.\nCoordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, subcontractors, and trade partners.\nForecast labor, material, tool, and equipment needs while supporting project schedules and look-ahead planning.\nIdentify and resolve field issues to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.\nConduct inspections, quality reviews, toolbox talks, and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.\nComplete daily reports, manpower tracking, timecards, and project documentation.\nSupport project turnover and closeout activities.\nWhat You Bring\n5+ years of commercial HVAC construction experience with 3+ years as foreman or lead\nJourneyman-level HVAC, Sheet Metal, Mechanical, or related trade experience.\nExperience as a Foreman, Lead Foreman, Project Foreman, General Foreman, or similar field leadership role.\nExperience leading crews of 5-20+ field personnel.\nStrong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment, including ductwork, RTUs, AHUs, VAV systems, exhaust systems, and mechanical equipment installation.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and construction documents.\nExperience with manpower planning, material takeoffs, ordering, scheduling, and project coordination.\nOSHA 30 preferred.\nExperience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management platforms preferred.\nMinimum Physical Requirements\nWork indoors and outdoors, including dusty, noisy, and active construction environments.\nWork at heights, in confined spaces, and in other challenging job-site conditions.\nClimb, balance, squat, kneel, crouch, and perform other physically demanding construction activities.\nWork in all weather conditions.\nMaintain working knowledge of HVAC trade tools, equipment, materials, and safe work practices.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 75 pounds occasionally, 45 pounds frequently, and 22 pounds continuously.\nWhy Build Your Career at RK\nLead meaningful work.
