If you're a collaborative construction professional with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence, join RK Mechanical and help shape the quality behind every build.\nSummary of Duties: \nRK Mechanical Quality Construction Control Manager will be responsible to manage, monitor, implement and execute a Company QCM program which is executed on every project to ensure contractor and subcontractor quality control requirements are met for all projects. The QCC Manager is required to set all Quality Construction Management (QCM) schedules for each project, attend all planning meetings, conduct quality audits and site walks as well as review contract compliance with the plans and specifications.This person will conduct as many of the Quality Construction Management (QCM) meetings in person as reasonably possible and ensure that all meetings are taking place as well as follow up and follow through on all items or issues needing attention.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nSchedule and participate in the majority of QCM weekly meetings to ensure compliance.\nManage and supervise the project teams to ensure the QCM process is being maintained. \nAssure all project teams are meeting weekly and adhering to the QCM agenda.\nReview project construction documents and specifications with project team to assure compliance.\nVerify compliance documented in Material Matrix and Equipment Tracking.\nManage and assure mechanical teams are planning the projects based upon the “Plan it” agenda.\nAssure Mechanical project teams are managing and maintaining the project schedule.\nManage and assure mechanical project teams are utilizing the Build-it agenda to plan and execute the projects.\nAssure mechanical project teams review and plan project labor weekly.\nVerify the Labor Projection Report (LPR) is completed weekly and reviewed for accuracy.\nAssure project triangulation is being performed. \nReview Short Interval Plan (SIP) is reviewed weekly.\nPerform regular site walks to review quality processes and procedures are adhered to.\nAssist project teams in documenting quality assurance and regular inspections.\nAssure all project teams are closing out projects by adhering the “Close it” agenda.\nAssure all teams are keeping an Issues/Actions Log.\nAssist mechanical project teams in timely notifications of impacts to General Contractors.\nThis person must be very collaborative and process excellent communication skills to be able to work effectively will all parties involved in the construction process.IE: VPO, OM, PM, Field Leadership, VDC Dept., Fabrication, purchasing, etc. \nAssist in drafting site-specific quality control plans\nCollect and conduct lessons learned meetings to ensure effective communication to prevent duplication of problems across the company.\nAssist in identifying and reviewing project specific critical systems. \nIdentify special systems testing such as steam, weld x-ray, chlorination, duct testing, etc.\nAccountability:\nComply with all company policies and procedures. \nAll employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present.
