Our exclusive building methodologies, accredited safety standards and professional execution allow us to turn our customers’ greatest concepts into reality.\nPosition Summary\nResponsible for all receiving related activities at the RKMC including the physical receiving and checking in of the inbound material, managing backorders, communicating with vendors, tracking of stock inventory, and yard management. Responsible for the day-to-day management and direction of these items as well as his/her team to accomplish these items. Furthermore, he/she is responsible for the management of safety, quality, and productivity of their department.\nRole Responsibilities\nInbound Materials\nInbound material receiving and verification against POs and tracking of packing slips.\nSupervising the counting, weighing, and identifying of items.\nChecking materials against vendor invoices, bills of lading, customers’ purchase orders.\nManagement of damaged, defective or non-conformance items and resolution.\nMaintaining rigid Quality Assurance standards.\nInbound materials are logged, inventoried or marked as appropriate and updated with location in RKMC’s systems for tracking purposes. \nManagement of inventory of raw materials and various hardware.\nOutbound Material Shipping\nWorking in tandem with Shipping Department to ensure complete and timely delivery of finished goods. \nInventory Management\nUpdate RK systems with receiving and shipping information.\nEnsure product can be tracked and located throughout the plant, yard and processes.\nPerform cycle counts and verifications\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED required. \nThree years of warehouse, receiving, shipping, inventory, or material-handling experience, including one year in a lead or training role preferred.\nKnowledge of receiving, inventory control, material-handling, and warehouse safety practices.\nAbility to read work orders and shipping documents, maintain accurate records, and resolve routine discrepancies.\nBasic computer, math, communication, and organizational skills.\nForklift certification or ability to obtain certification within the required timeframe.\nMinimum Physical Requirements and Accountability\nWork outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas. \nWork in tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations. \nClimb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch. \nWork in all types of weather. \nMust have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools. \nAbility to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.\nTime sheets and scheduling for direct reports.\nComply with all company policies and procedures. \nAll employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present.
