By aligning field operations, project management, and business strategy, they help ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest standards of quality.\nAt RK Mechanical, you'll lead business unit operations across industrial, semiconductor, mission-critical, healthcare, manufacturing, and commercial construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Preconstruction, and executive leadership, you'll oversee project performance, staffing strategies, forecasting, customer relationships, and operational execution.\nThis is an opportunity to lead a growing business, develop high-performing project teams, and influence the success of some of the most complex mechanical construction projects in the region.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead day-to-day operations across business units, project teams, and field operations.\nDevelop, mentor, and hold Project Managers accountable for project execution, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team development.\nOversee staffing strategies, labor forecasting, workforce planning, and resource utilization.\nReview WIP, cost-to-complete forecasting, productivity metrics, and monthly business performance.\nMonitor project financials, including revenue, margins, billing, change management, cash flow, and profitability.\nSupport estimating, preconstruction, procurement, contract review, and project planning efforts.\nPartner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and executive leadership to identify risks, resolve challenges, and drive successful project outcomes.\nMaintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and industry partners.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.\nSupport long-term business planning, strategic growth initiatives, and organizational development.\nWhat You Bring\n15+ years of experience in mechanical construction, operations leadership, project management, or business unit management.\nExperience with mechanical contractors, HVAC contractors, plumbing contractors, MEP construction, process piping, or industrial construction environments.\nProven experience leading Project Managers, Superintendents, and operational teams.\nExperience leading business-unit performance, including WIP reviews, cost-to-complete forecasting, budgeting, staffing, procurement, and P&L management.\nExperience overseeing large-scale project portfolios, programs, or business units exceeding $50M in annual volume.\nExperience supporting semiconductor, mission-critical, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, data center, or advanced technology construction projects preferred.\nStrong understanding of project delivery, forecasting, contract administration, risk management, and construction operations.\nExcellent leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.\nEquivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.\nWhy Build Your Career at RK\nLead a growing business.
