Our proven methods, focus on safety, and commitment to quality help bring our customers’ biggest ideas to life.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Production Supervisor oversees the daily production operations of a facility, acting as the critical link between upper management and the frontline workforce. Their primary goal is to ensure products are manufactured safely, on time, and within quality standards while maximizing efficiency.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPlan and organize production to meet customer demands.\nCompile data on performance, output, and progress for senior management.\nLead a team between 5 and 20 team members.\nAssign tasks to workers and monitor the production line to identify and resolve bottlenecks.\nInspect work in process (WIP) to ensure it meets exact specifications and compliance standards.\nOnboard new hires and provide continuous coaching on equipment use and safety procedures.\nParticipate in hiring, conduct performance reviews, and handle disciplinary actions or conflict resolution.\nSpend significant time on the production floor (\"Gemba\") to observe processes firsthand, identify inefficiencies, and support frontline problem-solving.\nActively monitor and eliminate the seven wastes of Lean.\nMaintain and utilize visual tools like Kanban boards to track task status and WIP limits to prevent bottlenecks.\nEnsure all team members follow established standardized work processes to maintain consistency and quality.\nLead or participate in Kaizen events to implement incremental enhancements based on employee feedback.\nMaintain and improve 5S in the workplace\nRead, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products. \nInterpret job orders and drawings as needed for area of assignment.\nReview produced work for correctness and perform quality control inspections.\nIdentify product defects and effectively communicate defects to shop leadership.\nMaintain accurate time records.\nWork with overheard cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts.\nPlan and delegate prioritized work flow assignments as directed by shop superintendent.\nMonitor machinery health and arrange maintenance for necessary repairs to minimize downtime.\nImplement and enforce strict safety protocols (e.g. OSHA regulations, proper PPE usage).\nConduct regular audits of the work environment to ensure it remains clean and hazard-free.\nInspect and document product compliance.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of 1 year of relevant experience.\nFamiliar with shop production environment.\nRequires judgment or initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations. \nAbility to manage daily activities of 10-25 member crew.\nAccountability:\nComply with all company policies and procedures. \nPrompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in an office environment, currently located in the 80 E 62nd Ave area of Denver, including a reliable means of transport to and from work. Ability to occasionally travel between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro Area, during work hours.\nAll employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present.
