Our proven methods focus on safety and commitment to quality, helping bring our customers’ biggest ideas to life.\nPosition Summary\nThe Production Supervisor will provide direct supervision to the RK Steel Fusion and Assembly Plant. Will oversee the scheduling, coordination, ensure proper and accurate training of employees, monitor the quality of work and address coordinate maintenance and issues. Production Supervisor will report to the RK Production Manager, and manage the daily production operations, including process and procedure improvement activities, productivity, quality control and employee satisfaction.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nCompletes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow with production summaries by shift.\nManages staff by requesting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.\nCommunicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures. Provide guidance and direction to the production floor personnel.\nDevelop and maintain training programs in conjunction with the Production Manager to ensure that all personnel have the necessary skills to perform their duties safely and productively.\nCoordinate daily production floor activities and delegate assignments to production personnel.\nCommunicate clear expectations to production personnel, keep them informed of matters pertaining to their job, and develop personnel growth opportunities.\nMonitor employee work performance relative to expectations.\nEnsure material is supplied to the workstations quickly and efficiently.\nMonitor and enforce safety policies.\nMaintain a safe and clean work environment at all times by educating and directing personnel.\nImplement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices.\nDocument and ensure any required corrective measures are addressed and implemented.\nEnsure equipment and tools are in good working order and available for use when required.\nEnsure all stations are producing product to the company’s quality standards.\nContinuously evaluate and influence efficiencies in processes and layout along with material workflow for increased throughput and productivity.\nMonitor and manage schedule with work start, break, and stop times of the production floor personnel.\nMonitor and enforce cell phone prohibition of the production floor personnel.\nWork in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities and management.\nImplement manufacturing processes and procedures for new products and customers.\nAccountability:\nComply with all company policies and procedures. \nAll employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present.
