Ensure project goals are achieved safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, subcontractors, and project teams. Manage budgeting, scheduling, contracts, buyout, documentation, meetings, billings, change conditions, labor productivity, cost control, and project closeout.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nManage and supervise day-to-day operations of project staff and field teams on assigned projects, accounts, and service work.\nManage assigned specialty water, wastewater, treatment plant, and hydronic system projects from preconstruction through closeout.\nReview and thoroughly understand project scope, contract requirements, deliverables, and timelines.\nEnsure customer contract agreements are secured, reviewed, processed, and executed.\nParticipate in Sales-to-Operations and preconstruction turnover meetings for assigned projects to confirm scope, budget, schedule, procurement needs, and project risks.\nDevelop, review, finalize, and distribute project budgets. Establish and maintain project schedules, procurement plans, and risk mitigation strategies.\nMonitor and update project schedules throughout execution.\nCoordinate procurement of materials and equipment with the purchasing agent, including buyout planning to meet or improve established schedule dates and budgeted costs.\nOversee construction activities involving hydronic and process mechanical systems, treatment equipment, process piping, pipelines, pump stations, instrumentation and controls, SCADA, and chemical feed and dosing systems.\nEnsure project work complies with contract documents, project specifications, applicable permitting and regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control procedures. Ensure required permits and licenses are obtained and posted.\nInitiate, review, and oversee project administration and documentation to protect the interests of RK Water and its client. Ensure required submittals are reviewed, processed, approved, and tracked in maintained submittal logs.\nNegotiate, prepare, process, and execute subcontract agreements. Manage contract administration, subcontractor coordination, and owner communications.\nPrice, negotiate, and process change conditions and change orders. Document changes to project scope, cost, and schedule while supporting claims avoidance.\nEnsure projects are appropriately staffed with field forces, including review, updating, and approval of labor resource loading. Monitor labor productivity and analyze performance.\nOversee the use of tools and rental equipment on assigned projects. Ensure equipment that is no longer required or being used is returned promptly.\nManage the overall financial performance of assigned projects through ongoing cost control, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring, including earned-value reporting as applicable.\nDevelop, submit, and obtain approval of the billing schedule of values.\nPrepare and submit accurate monthly contract valuations on time.\nMaintain an overbilled cash position, proactively request retention releases and payments, and collect progress billings and retention receivables on or before their due dates.\nReview, approve, and process subcontractor and supplier invoices.\nFacilitate regular project meetings with relevant stakeholders.\nCommunicate project status, risks, cost and schedule impacts, and mitigation plans to project stakeholders.\nSupport commissioning, startup, operator training, system testing, and successful turnover of completed systems and facilities to owners and end users.\nDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for additional work and long-term partnerships.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nAccountability:\nComply with all company policies and procedures.\nPrompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in an office environment, currently located in the 80 E 62nd Ave area of Denver, including a reliable means of transport to and from work.Ability to occasionally travel between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro Area, during work hours.\nAll employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected.\nPhysical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.\nOccasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.\nQualifications:\nCareer Level: Project Manager 1\n5-6 years of relevant project or construction experience; a degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong technical knowledge of process mechanical piping systems, building on the knowledge of an Assistant Project Manager.\nGood knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, cost control, forecasting, and labor productivity.\nKnowledge of contract administration, change orders, submittals, progress billing, and project closeout; proficiency with project management and scheduling software.\nRK Industries, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
