Professional Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

Your role and responsibilities

• Invoice verification, clarification of discrepancies with Procurement, and posting of invoices
• Communication with suppliers; handling of payment reminders and cash discount claims
• Preparation of dunning runs, monitoring of overdue customer accounts, and initiation of debt collection procedures
• Administrative tasks, e.g. official reporting, preparation of intercompany invoices, and reporting/analyses
• Preparation and execution of SAP payment runs, processing of manual payments, and recurring postings
• Processing of travel expense claims and administration of the travel expense software
• Special projects and process optimization, in particular the further development of existing processes
• Posting of incoming payments, clarification of payment differences, and monitoring of cash discount claims

Your profile and qualifications

• Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in invoice verification and/or accounting, ideally at least two years
• Good to very good knowledge of SAP, especially SAP FI, as well as MS Office
• Sound knowledge of VAT regulations
• Strong numerical affinity and analytical skills
• Structured, independent, and results-oriented way of working
• High level of accuracy, reliability, and strong attention to detail and service orientation
• Team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of collaborative work
• Hands-on mentality and an interest in the continuous improvement of processes
• Process-oriented way of thinking and working
• Very good German skills and good English skills
