Candidates must successfully complete the selection process to ensure we are providing professional security officers who are dependable and reliable. We are highly interested in candidates who are looking for a long-term career and take pride in their work, their communication abilities, and who believe in the importance of a professional demeanor.\nResponsibilities will include:\nRemains knowledgeable of hotel security policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.\nRemains knowledgeable of emergency procedures, check-in, check-out, and key orientation.\nPatrols allocated areas of hotel and property as directed and watch for suspicious, irregular, prohibited, or dangerous activities, situations, or persons, as outlined in hotel policy.\nPatrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.\nManages the collection, safeguarding, and redistribution of lost and found items.\nCirculates among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.\nMonitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of premises.\nCalls police, fire department, or ambulance in cases of a medical emergency, or any dangerous or threatening condition such as fire, presence of unauthorized persons, or non-compliant violators of hotel policy.\nTakes the initiative to advise guests or staff of emergency situations or the need to abandon facilities.
