Jumpstart your career and expand your professional portfolio at Energy Pellets of America.\nSupervisor responsibilities include managing 2nd shift employees work schedules, assigning tasks and duties, managing when and how tasks are performed, and planning work schedules, guiding employees through daily work activities, monitoring employee performance to ensure maximum productivity, and relaying information between employees and upper management. \nPellet Mill Operator responsibilities: you will run the pellet mill, bagging machine, shrink wrap equipment, as well as maintain and clean the equipment as needed. Successful candidates for this position must possess a good work ethic, maintain a good attendance record, and work well with others as part of a team.\nAbout Energy Pellets of America\nSince 2015 Energy Pellets of America has been manufacturing premium wood pellets in Wilmington, OH. We are a family-owned company that uses resources which would otherwise go to waste. We manufacture and sell premium wood fuel pellets and animal bedding pellets. Instead of rotting in a landfill, we use discarded wood and turn it into clean burning energy.\n\nJob Qualifications:\nMachine operating experience\n\nComputer experience\n\nPrevious forklift experience\n\nAbility to read and count\n\nAbility to communicate with the manufacturer of the equipment\n\nAbility to lift up to 75lbs\n\nAbility to stand on concrete for extended periods of time\n\nAble to read a micrometer\n\nMust be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty\n\nStrong attention to detail to ensure accuracy\n\nProactive, self-motivated, and strong ability to multitask\n\nMust be able to work flexible hours.\n\nPrevious supervisor experience\n\nMechanically inclined\n\nOther Essential Duties:\nPerforms all field functions related to the start-up and operation of all process and packaging equipment.\nClean mills/maintain mills.\nSet Rolls.\nOnce mills are started watch and listen for unusual sights (smoke, steam etc.) and sounds (loud rumble etc.).\nCheck pellets at the mills and coolers for length, color and durability and moisture.\nKeep the mill & cooler area clean.\nClean bagging system.\nStart bagger with correct bags.\nStartup palletizer, robot, and wrapper.\nReset counters on bagger and wrapper.\nMake sure scale is set to correct weight for bag size.\nMake sure robot count (layer and bag) is correct \nCheck seals on bags at bagger and wrapper.\nConducts quality control tests for pellet product.\nMakes plant adjustments for improving plant production and/or product quality.\nUses forklifts and material handling equipment.\nAssists during periods of maintenance downtime.\nEnsures all products are shipped or stored properly and counted accurately.\nMaintains a safe, neat, orderly accident-free work environment, including all warehouse work areas, aisles, trucks, etc.\nAble to work independently and with a team\nBenefits: R+L Carriers offers an excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matching contributions, Paid Vacation & Holidays, and vacation lodging at our exclusive employee resorts in Daytona Beach, FL, Big Bear Lake, CA, Pigeon Forge, TN, and Ocean Isle Beach, NC.\nAbout Us: R+L Carriers is a family owned, privately held transportation company founded in 1965.
