Backed by $16M from top VCs and YC (W25), our marketplace and platform are used by startups, Fortune 500 companies and frontier labs.\nAbout the role\nWe’re hiring a Talent Engineer to hire strong engineers and GTM leaders so we can keep up with our rapid growth. That said, our bar is high because we believe HUD will only be 30-40 people in an end state - our marketplace model means scaling revenue does not rely on scaling headcount. Your challenge is to identify and sign these exceptional talent.\nResponsibilities\nOwn end-to-end recruiting across technical and GTM roles\n\nBuild and optimize recruiting ops and tooling, automating workflows whenever possible\n\nPartner closely with founders and team leads to define role requirements, evaluation criteria, and interview processes\n\nDevelop a strong understanding of our product to effectively pitch technical candidates\n\nSource top candidates through high-signal and unconventional channels\n\nScreen candidates for both technical competence and product/market intuition\n\nSupport onboarding and new hire ramp\n\nHelp define and run performance review processes, leveling, and feedback systems\n\nExperience\nYou may be a good fit if you:\nHave experience hiring engineering, product, and GTM roles\n\nAre comfortable evaluating candidates via portfolios and projects, not just resumes\n\nCan understand and communicate technical concepts well enough to engage credibly with candidates\n\nAre highly organized and can manage multiple roles and pipelines simultaneously\n\nHave strong instincts for talent quality and bar-setting\n\nEarly-stage startup experience with ability to work independently in fast-paced environments\n\nStrong candidates may also have:\nA track record of sourcing creatively\n\nFamiliarity with Ashby, Juicebox, and Clay\n\nExperience with vibe coding and using AI to automate workflows\n\nExposure to or ownership of people/HR functions\n\nExperience evaluating non-traditional candidate profiles\n\nWe prioritize technical aptitude and learning potential over years of experience. Motivated candidates are encouraged to apply even if they don't meet all criteria.\nTeam & company details\nTeam Size : ~25 people currently, mostly full-time in-person, but some remote.\n\nOur team: Our team includes 4 International Olympiad medalists (IOI, ILO, IPhO), serial AI startup founders, and researchers with publications at ICLR, NeurIPS, etc.\n\nCompany stage: We have 8 figures in funding and are scaling profitably and quickly to meet very strong demand.\n\nLogistics\nEmployment : Full-time.\n\nLocation : San Francisco office only for this role.\n\nVisa Sponsorship : We provide support for relocation and visas for strong full-time candidates to the US or Singapore.\n\nTimeline : Applications are rolling.
