This is an exciting opportunity to join and strengthen our Cost Management team.\n\nThis role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive candidate to take responsibility for providing all core Quantity Surveying services on a number of interesting projects, for a number of clients across a variety of sectors.\n\nRole Responsibilities\nSupporting the Associate / Senior Cost Manager on projects\nPre and Post-Contract Quantity Surveying duties\nInvolvement in Pre-Construction cost planning and estimating\nInvolvement in Post-Contract financial management\nThe candidate will be an integral part of a team that is accountable for the commercial and contractual performance of a project\nBuilding and maintaining client relationships\nTo support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances\nCandidate Profile\n\nThe ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.\n\nQualifications\nDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline\nMRICS or membership of other relevant professional body preferred \nExperience\nStrong technical delivery experience\nAbility to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner\nFeasibility and cost planning experience\nPre and Post contract experience of a range of schemes\nExperience of providing procurement advice, tender documentation and post contract services\nStakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts\nA track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines\nSome experience / knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts\nBehaviours\nRecognised as a client focused, positive collaborator who shares knowledge freely and offers support to their peers and seniors.
