Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be the analytical engine behind our commercial operations, owning the day-to-day management of financial and pricing models, producing executive-quality presentation materials, and working directly with senior partners to keep our sales pipeline accurate and up to date.\nThis is a full-time, in-personrole based at our Vancouver, BCoffice. It is a rare early-career seat: you'll see how a global consultancy prices, pitches, and wins multi-million-dollar engagements, with real responsibility from day one. This role is ideal for someone who wants broad exposure to corporate finance, strategy, and business development before specializing, and who thrives on structure, accuracy, and polish.\nAs a Business Analyst, you will:\nMaintain, update, and quality-check pricing models, cost models, and financial forecasts in Excel; support scenario analysis for active client pursuits. \nBuild and refine executive-level PowerPoint decks (proposals, pitch materials, board updates) to brand standard, working from partner input and existing templates. \nPartner directly with senior consultants and Managing Partners to keep Microsoft Dynamics CRM entries complete, current, and accurate; run regular pipeline hygiene reviews and follow up on gaps.\nAssist the CFO with monthly forecast cycles, variance analysis, and reporting packs.\nSupport business intelligence reporting in Power BI, working with our data science and IT teams on data refreshes, dashboard updates, and ad hoc analysis; you own the business logic and requirements, they own the infrastructure.\nTake on research, data pulls, and one-off analytical requests from the CFO and senior leadership. \nYou will thrive in this role if you bring:\nStrong Excel skills and comfort building and auditing multi-tab models, using lookups, and structuring clean, logical workbooks.\nProficiency in PowerPoint with a genuine eye for clarity, consistency, and visual polish.\nA highly organized, detail-oriented mindset with a knack for catching the errors others miss.\nConfidence communicating with and following up on senior stakeholders, holding them (politely) accountable.\nComfort working cross-functionally, translating business needs into clear requirements for data science and IT colleagues.\nA self-starter mentality that can manage multiple recurring tasks and deadlines without close supervision. \nTo qualify for this role, you must have:\nA bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.\n1-3 years of professional experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply; internships and co-op terms count).\nStrong Excel skills, including comfort with lookups and structuring clean, multi-tab workbooks.\nProficiency in PowerPoint for executive-level presentation development.\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or another CRM platform is an asset.\nExposure to SQL, Power BI, Power Query, or DAX is an asset.\nExposure to AI tools such as Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT are an asset. \nInterest in energy, mining, capital projects, or management consulting is an asset.\nCo-op, internship, or work experience in FP&A, consulting, banking, or a corporate finance function is an asset. \nWhat success looks like\nA successful Business Analyst at RLG becomes the reliable analytical backbone behind our commercial operations - keeping pricing models accurate, presentations polished, and the pipeline clean, while earning the trust of senior partners and the CFO along the way.
