The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, benefits, compensation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong presentation and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. The Human Resources Generalists will support the HR Manager with daily tasks.\nResponsibilities:\nManage all facets of RMF benefits, negotiate annual rates with carriers. Intervene with carriers if required for employee issue resolution\nProcess and maintain employee benefits with carriers\nMaintain Employee Records in HR and payroll system\nMaintain and process employee performance reviews in HR system\nProcess multi- state Bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now\nAssist with developing job descriptions and corporate policies\nPartner with management to provide guidance and strategic objectives to align with organization’s mission\nEnsure business practices are compliant with HR laws, best practices and policies\nAnalysis Market trends and advise management on key metrics\nImplementation and maintenance of Applicant Tracking System\nPrepare/approve all offer letters to new hires\nNew Hire Orientation and onboarding and Exit Interviews\nNew Hire reporting for all states/ E-verify for new hires within 3 days of hire date\nUpdate employee manual as required\nAnnual AAP update, Manage AAP audits with HR Manager\nAct as council for Management regarding employee matters, providing input for resolution\nLiaise between employees and management\nMaintain ERISA compliance and 5500’s\n(Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually. RMF considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.)\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum of 7 years Human Resources experience \nProficient in MS PowerPoint for presentations\nAbility to work overtime as needed during peak seasons\nStrong Communication and written skills\nStrong teamwork and work ethics\nMust be able to pass a standard background check\nKnowledge of Employment laws\nIntermediate to advanced level of Excel and Word knowledge\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDegree in Human Resources\nSHRM-CP or PHR certification\nBenefits\nA stable and professional working environment is offered with competitive salary, excellent employee benefits, which include health and dental insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation, and 401K plan.
