We only accept direct applications.\nJob Title: Indusrial Technician - Passivation\nLocation: Atlanta, GA\nHiring for all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift)\nNote: This project is in Georgia, but candidates should expect to travel to various project locations. Candidates must be willing to travel to Lucedale for training and to any location where future projects may be based. $200 per diem. \nPosition Summary\nThe Project Hand is an essential member of RMR Mechanical's High Purity and Passivation \nteam, responsible for supporting the successful execution of projects through equipment \nsetup, chemical handling, flushing operations, and jobsite maintenance. This position \nrequires a dependable, safety-conscious, and hardworking individual who demonstrates \nprofessionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. \nEmployees are expected to represent RMR Mechanical with integrity while contributing to a \nculture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nAssist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of High Purity and Passivation \nequipment and systems.\nHandle hoses, pumps, filtration systems, tanks, piping, and other project-related \nequipment safely and efficiently.\nAssist in the mixing, transferring, and handling of approved chemicals while strictly \nfollowing established safety procedures and environmental regulations.\nSupport flushing, passivation, preservation, and other high-purity system cleaning \nactivities under the direction of project leadership.\nMonitor equipment performance and communicate any concerns or irregularities to \nsupervisors promptly.\nMaintain clean, organized, and professional work areas throughout each project.\nLoad, unload, organize, and properly care for company tools, equipment, and materials.\nPerform routine cleaning, maintenance, and inspection of company equipment to \nensure operational readiness.\nFollow all company and customer safety requirements, including PPE, confined space \nentry, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, and other applicable procedures.\nTravel to customer job sites as required, which may include extended travel \nassignments.\nDemonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliability by reporting to work on time, \nmaintaining regular attendance, and being prepared to perform assigned duties each \nday.\nMaintain a positive attitude while working collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, \ncustomers, and other trades.\nPerform additional duties as assigned to support project success and operational needs.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nPrevious industrial, construction, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred \nbut not required.\nAbility to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nWillingness and ability to travel for project assignments, including overnight travel \nwhen necessary.\nAbility to work safely in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.\nValid driver's license required\nMust be able to successfully pass all required pre-employment and customer-required \nscreenings.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nDemonstrates exceptional reliability, dependability, and accountability.\nMaintains a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic while representing RMR \nMechanical.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized High Purity and \nPassivation processes.\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to adapt to changing project priorities and work effectively in fast-paced \nenvironments.\nCommitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and \ncustomer service.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nThis position primarily works at industrial customer facilities and construction sites. \nEmployees are regularly required to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, reach, lift, and carry \nmaterials weighing up to 75 pounds. Work may be performed in confined spaces, elevated \nareas, and varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
