By fostering a culture of integrity, stewardship, and collaboration-both within our team and with our partners-we create lasting value, inspire trust, and lead transformative progress for our industry and communities.\nPosition Summary\nAs a Quality Site Manager, your primary focus will be leading and overseeing site-level Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities for RMR Mechanical projects. This role serves as the primary quality representative on assigned projects and works closely with project management, field supervision, craft personnel, customers, third-party inspectors, and other stakeholders to ensure work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, applicable codes, and customer requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage the project-specific QA/QC program at assigned job\nEnsure construction and fabrication activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and applicable codes and standards.\nPerform and oversee visual welding inspections and verify compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs).\nVerify welder qualifications and certifications before employees perform applicable welding\nReview welding documentation, weld maps, material documentation, inspection records, and other required quality\nCoordinate welder testing and qualification activities as\nMonitor welding, piping, boiler, pressure vessel, structural, and other mechanical construction activities for compliance with project requirements.\nSupport compliance with applicable ASME, NBIC, AWS, customer, and project-specific\nCoordinate required inspections with customers, Authorized Inspectors, third-party inspectors, NDE personnel, and project leadership.\nReview NDE results and coordinate repairs, reinspection, and documentation when\nIdentify, document, communicate, and track nonconforming work and corrective actions through\nConduct routine field inspections and quality surveillance of active\nVerify required hold points, witness points, examinations, and inspections are completed before work\nMaintain organized and accurate project quality records, turnover packages, data books, weld documentation, and inspection records.\nParticipate in pre-job planning, project kickoff meetings, quality meetings, customer meetings, and project closeout\nCommunicate quality expectations to field supervision and craft personnel and provide guidance regarding workmanship, welding quality, documentation, and code compliance.\nWork collaboratively with Operations, Safety, Project Management, and field leadership to resolve quality concerns without compromising code, customer, or project requirements.\nImmediately escalate significant quality concerns that could affect project integrity, schedule, customer requirements, or regulatory compliance.\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrent AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification\n5+ years of industrial construction, welding, fabrication, QA/QC, or related experience\nPrevious experience performing welding inspection and quality oversight in an industrial construction\nStrong knowledge of welding processes, procedures, discontinuities, inspection methods, and welding\nWorking knowledge of applicable ASME, AWS, NBIC, customer, and project-specific\nExperience reviewing WPSs, PQRs, welder qualifications, weld maps, NDE reports, and quality\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, piping drawings, isometrics, specifications, weld symbols, and project documentation.\nValid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving\nAbility and willingness to travel extensively and work at project locations for extended\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong leadership and field decision-making skills with the ability to manage quality priorities across active project\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally communicate quality concerns to employees, supervision, customers, and inspectors.\nStrong organizational and documentation skills with a high level of attention to\nAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate project quality\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation\nAbility to coach field personnel and reinforce a culture in which quality is the responsibility of everyone who plans, inspects, supervises, or performs the work.\nPhysical & Work Requirements\nFull-time field position with extensive travel to project and customer\nAbility to work in active industrial construction environments and around welding, fabrication, and heavy equipment\nAbility to walk and stand for extended periods and navigate uneven surfaces, stairs, ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work areas.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental\nAbility to work extended hours, weekends, nights, shutdowns, or outage schedules when required by the\nBenefits\nCompetitive compensation based on\nPaid time\nHealth\nOpportunity for professional growth and advancement within the\nRMR Mechanical is an equal opportunity employer and values teamwork, accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement\nWhy Join Kelso Industries family of companies?
