By fostering a culture of integrity, stewardship, and \ncollaboration-both within our team and with our partners-we create lasting value, inspire trust, and lead \ntransformative progress for our industry and communities.\nPosition Summary\nAs a Quality Technician, your primary focus will be supporting field QA/QC activities through inspection, \ndocumentation, weld tracking, material verification, and coordination with project supervision and the Quality team. \nThis role works directly in active project environments to help ensure welding, fabrication, piping, boiler, pressure component, and mechanical construction activities meet RMR Mechanical standards, approved procedures, applicable codes, and customer requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the Quality Site Manager and project leadership with day-to-day QA/QC activities on assigned projects.\nPerform visual welding inspections and verify work is completed in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs), drawings, and project requirements.\nVerify welder identification, qualifications, and continuity records as required for assigned work.\nAssist with welder testing and qualification activities under the direction of Quality leadership.\nMaintain weld maps, weld logs, inspection records, material documentation, and other required quality records.\nVerify material identification, heat numbers, traceability, and documentation where required by the project or \napplicable code.\nAssist with receiving inspections and verification of materials, components, and documentation.\nMonitor welding, fit-up, fabrication, piping, boiler, pressure-component, structural, and mechanical work for \ncompliance with project requirements.\nCoordinate and document required hold points, witness points, visual examinations, and inspections.\nAssist with coordination of NDE activities and maintain related reports and documentation.\nIdentify and communicate quality concerns, deficiencies, or nonconforming work to the Quality Site Manager and \nfield supervision.\nAssist with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective-action documentation, punch lists, and reinspection \nactivities.\nMaintain organized and complete project quality files for turnover, customer review, and audit purposes.\nAssist with turnover packages, data books, weld documentation, inspection records, and project closeout activities.\nParticipate in pre-job planning, quality meetings, and field coordination meetings as requested.\nWork collaboratively with Operations, Project Management, Safety, craft supervision, customers, and third-party \ninspectors to support successful project execution.\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrent AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.\n2+ years of industrial construction, welding, fabrication, inspection, QA/QC, or related field experience preferred.\nWorking knowledge of welding processes, weld discontinuities, inspection practices, and welding documentation.\nWorking knowledge of applicable AWS requirements;
