Working under the guidance of the Safety Director, this role ensures that safety policies, procedures, and compliance measures are effectively carried out in the field. The Field Safety Manager serves as the on-site safety leader, driving accountability, fostering a proactive safety culture, and ensuring that risks are identified, controlled, and communicated.\nCore Responsibilities\nField Safety Program Execution\nImplement the company’s safety program across assigned jobsites.\nEnsure all employees, subcontractors, and visitors follow safety policies and procedures.\nOversee site-specific safety plans, SWPPPs, return-to-work programs, and hazard control measures.\nConduct daily jobsite walkthroughs, focused inspections, and JSAs to reinforce compliance and field presence.\nParticipate in new-hire orientations, training programs, and safety events in the field.\n\nIncident and Risk Management\nProactively assess and mitigate occupational hazards on-site.\nStop work if unsafe conditions or unacceptable risks are present.\nLead incident response efforts, including investigations, documentation, and corrective action implementation.\nSupport project leadership in addressing quality-control and safety-related issues.\n\nField Collaboration and Support\nPartner with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to integrate safety expectations into daily operations.\nCoach and guide field personnel on safety compliance and best practices.\nAct as a liaison between field teams and the Safety Director to ensure consistency across projects.\nRepresent safety leadership in field meetings with subcontractors, clients, and regulatory representatives.\n\nMonitoring and Reporting\nMaintain project-specific safety logs, scorecards, and inspection reports.\nPrepare trending reports and provide insights on recurring issues or risks.\nCommunicate safety performance and progress to the Safety Director and project leadership.\nTrack compliance metrics and recommend adjustments to strengthen field safety outcomes.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n5+ years of experience managing or leading safety initiatives on construction sites.\nOSHA 30 required;
