This role has full ownership of assigned projects from preconstruction handoff through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. This role partners closely with Superintendents and field leadership to drive coordination, maintain accountability, and uphold RNGD’s commitment to operational excellence. The Project Manager operates with autonomy on standard-complexity projects and collaborates with Senior Project Managers or Sector Leaders on larger or highly complex projects.\nCore Responsibilities\nProject Financial Management\nDevelop and maintain project budgets from buyout through closeout.\nManage cost forecasting, cost reporting, and financial projections monthly.\nAnalyze budget variances and implement corrective actions to protect profitability.\nReview and approve subcontractor pay applications and vendor invoices.\nManage owner billings and ensure timely and accurate submission.\nOversee change order pricing, negotiation, and execution.\nMaintain responsibility for project margin performance.\n\nProject Execution and Scheduling\nDevelop and maintain overall project schedule in collaboration with field leadership.\nMonitor project milestones and proactively address schedule risks.\nEnsure subcontractor scopes are clearly defined and aligned with project requirements.\nLead project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.\nSupport field teams in resolving constructability and sequencing challenges.\nEnsure procurement of long-lead materials aligns with schedule demands.\n\nClient and Stakeholder Management\nServe as primary client contact for assigned projects.\nMaintain consistent communication regarding project progress, risks, and financial status.\nBuild and sustain strong relationships with owners, design teams, and subcontractors.\nAddress client concerns promptly and professionally.\nRepresent RNGD in project meetings and external communications.\n\nRisk Management and Compliance\nIdentify and mitigate project risks related to budget, schedule, safety, and quality.\nEnsure compliance with contract requirements and project specifications.\nPartner with Safety and Quality teams to maintain adherence to company standards.\nReview and manage subcontract agreements and ensure scope clarity.\nMaintain organized and complete project documentation.\n\nTeam Leadership and Collaboration\nPartner with Superintendents to align field operations with project objectives.\nProvide clear direction to Project Engineers and support their development.\nFoster accountability and communication across project teams.\nSupport a collaborative environment between field and office operations.\nEscalate major project risks or financial concerns to senior leadership when appropriate.\n\nProject Closeout\nEnsure timely completion of punch list and turnover documentation.\nOversee collection of warranties, as-builts, and required closeout materials.\nConfirm financial reconciliation and project margin accuracy at closeout.\nLead project debriefs to identify lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.\n\nField and Physical Requirements\nTravel to active construction sites as required.\nWalk active job sites, including uneven surfaces and elevated areas.\nClimb stairs and ladders as necessary to review project progress.\nLift and carry documents, plans, and project materials as needed.\nWork at a computer for extended periods to manage budgets, schedules, and documentation.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.\nMinimum of 5 years of construction project management experience required.\nExperience managing commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.\nStrong knowledge of construction contracts, budgeting, and scheduling required.\nProficiency in project management and financial software systems required.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications required.\nValid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
