This role requires technical expertise in surveying, precision in execution, and the ability to mentor and support junior team members while ensuring adherence to safety standards and project requirements.\nCore Responsibilities\nSurvey and Layout Execution\nPerform layout and survey-related activities on multiple projects daily.\nOperate and maintain GNSS, Robotic Total Station, auto level, and other surveying instruments.\nSet up and check in machine control linked equipment (GNSS and RTS).\nUtilize construction drawings to provide layout and cross-check calculations prepared by office personnel.\n\nDocumentation and Quality Control\nKeep accurate, legible, and complete documentation of all tasks performed.\nEnsure accuracy and precision in layout and survey work to support overall project quality.\nCross-verify calculations to avoid errors in project execution.\n\nCollaboration and Coordination\nCoordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, and Subcontractors regarding project schedules and surveying needs.\nAssist with traffic control and project signage as required.\nContribute to seamless project delivery by ensuring layout and surveying align with operational goals.\n\nTeam Development and Mentorship\nTrain and mentor team members in surveying practices and equipment usage.\nSupport a culture of continuous improvement by sharing expertise and best practices with the Surveying Team.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n2-5 years of construction layout or land surveying experience in a supervisory role.\n5 years of experience in the construction industry.\nExpertise in multiple civil and commercial construction types, including heavy & light roadway, aboveground & underground utilities, industrial, piling, bridges, and building foundations.\nProficiency in Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry.\nProficiency with Trimble (Siteworks) or equivalent, MS Office, and Procore.\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMust have reliable
