Join Our Team.\n This is a fixed site field role focused on DC system health, module replacements, tracker repairs, Inverter maintenance-repairs, and other maintenance activities on utility-scale solar facilities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients’ solar assets perform safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is located in City, State. RNWBL offers a relocation assistance package if interested in this position.\nWhat You’ll Do:\n·Reside or relocate within 1 hour of the project when possible.\nInspect and troubleshoot DC systems, combiner boxes, and string performance (Must be able to use a meter and once trained operate other needed electrical test equipment)\nPerform module swaps and replacements in accordance with site standards\nDiagnose and repair tracker system components (gearboxes, actuators, drives, motors, etc.)\nSupport both corrective and preventative maintenance across PV systems and BOS equipment\nDocument work performed and maintain compliance with safety standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E)\nCollaborate with peers, site leads, and clients to ensure project success\n·Assist with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.\n·Support experienced technicians with troubleshooting tasks.\n·Maintain safety training and Qualified Electrical Worker requirements as a technician\n·Document all service activity and parts consumptions using digital reporting systems.\n·Participate in safety briefings and enforce LOTO procedures.\n·Communicate issues and solutions to leadership.\n·Interface and communicate effectively with customers.\n·Adheres to, supports, and enforces all company policies\n·Work with Inventory Control to make sure projects are supplied properly with parts and consumables\n·Able to participate and respond in an On-Call 24/7/365 rotation schedule\n·Learn the fundamentals of mechanics, electricity, electronics, PLC’s, and hydraulics to solve mechanical and electrical problems\n·Learn to interface with equipment PLC’s to program, analyze performance and troubleshoot problems\n·Enjoy the challenges associated with troubleshooting, maintaining, and problem solving on renewable energy equipment\nWhat We’re Looking For\n2+ years’ experience in utility-scale solar PV, related electrical/mechanical field, related degree, or industry certificate course.\nKnowledge of DC systems, PV modules, and tracker mechanisms\nAbility to read and interpret electrical diagrams and OEM manuals\n·As needed for training and to assist on other projects if necessary.\n·Valid driver’s license and clean driving record\nPreferred:\nOSHA 10, NFPA 70E, or equivalent safety certifications\nNABCEP Associate or NCCER certification\nFamiliarity with plugs, etc.) \nMay be required to work around rotating and energized equipment, hazardous materials and chemicals. \nOccasionally requires lifting up to 70 pounds, to perform duties and
