Join Our Team.\n About the role\nThis is afixed sitefield role focused on DC system health, module replacements, tracker repairs,Inverter maintenance-repairs,and other maintenance activities on utility-scale solar facilities.You’llplay a key role in ensuring our clients’ solar assets perform safely, efficiently, and reliably. RNWBL offers a relocationassistancepackageifinterested in this position.\nWhatYou’llDo:\nResideorrelocatewithin 1 hour of the projectwhen possible. \nInspect and troubleshoot DC systems, combiner boxes, and string performance (Must be able to use a meterand once trainedoperateother needed electrical test equipment) \nPerformmodule swaps and replacements in accordance withsite standards \nDiagnose and repairtracker system components (gearboxes, actuators, drives, motors, etc.) \nSupport bothcorrective and preventative maintenance across PV systems and BOS equipment \nDocument work performed andmaintaincompliance withsafety standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E)\nCollaborate with peers, site leads, and clients to ensure project success \nAssistwith scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. \nSupport experienced technicians with troubleshooting tasks. \nMaintain safety training and Qualified Electrical Worker requirements as a technician \nDocument all service activity and partsconsumptionsusing digital reporting systems. \nParticipate in safety briefings and enforce LOTO procedures. \nCommunicateissues and solutions to leadership. \nInterface andcommunicateeffectively with customers. \nAdheres to, supports, and enforces all company policies \nWork with Inventory Control to make sure projects are supplied properly with parts and consumables \nAble toparticipateand respond in an On-Call 24/7/365 rotation schedule \nLearn the fundamentals of mechanics, electricity, electronics, PLC’s, and hydraulics to solve mechanical and electrical problems \nLearn tointerface withequipmentPLC’sto program, analyze performance and troubleshoot problems \nEnjoy the challenges associated with troubleshooting,maintaining, and problem solving onrenewable energyequipment \nWhatWe’reLooking For\n2+ years’ experience inutility-scale solar PV, related electrical/mechanical field, related degree, or industry certificate course. \nKnowledge of DC systems, PV modules, and tracker mechanisms \nAbility to read and interpret electrical diagrams and OEM manuals \nAs needed for training and toassiston other projects if necessary. \nValid driver’s license and clean driving record \nPreferred:\nOSHA10, NFPA 70E, or equivalent safety certifications \nNABCEP Associate or NCCER certification \nFamiliarity with inverter troubleshooting and SCADA/monitoring systems \nWhy Join
