and recovery for qualifying individuals.\nPurpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Digital Delivery, the successful incumbent is accountable for developing new applications/ systems as well as enhancing and maintaining existing application applications/ systems in accordance with the business requirements.\nKey Performance Areas\nApplication Development Management\nAcceptance of requirements from analysts. \nDesign the system in accordance with architectural standards.\nDevelop/ enhance/ maintain programs according to the RAF standards and requirements daily.\nKeep records of all programs in application register and configuration management.\nDraw logical flow charts for every program.\nDocumentation of programs and assisting in training manuals.\nFacilitate software testing and quality assurance activities.\nFix the identified bugs/ defects as reported by the testing process.\nEnsure alignment with DevOps, CI/CD Documentation and processes.\nDesign database structures in line with relational databases principles.\nIntegration\nDevelop the interfaces (coding) as described in the development activities category.\nBuild and maintain automated workflows using suitable solutions.\nContribute to the development and deployment of native or cross-platform mobile applications.\nPolicy Review and Implementation\nContribute to the development and implementation of departmental policy, procedures and processes.\nKeep up to date with effective policy and practice execution strategies.\nReporting\nTrack and prepare the activity status report on the progress of the implementation of received requirements.\nCompile and submit a report of development activities to the supervisor as requested.\nPrepare proposals, briefings, presentations, reports, and other documentation and provide management information both verbally and in report format.\nStakeholder Management\nActively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions or team learning initiatives.\nFacilitate and manage communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders and proactively and progressively manage the relationships.\nDeal with enquiries and requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders.\nQualifications and Experience\nBachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma in IT related qualification.\nMicrosoft Certified Application Developer is an added advantage.\nCertificate in ITIL is an added advantage.\nCloud Certification is an added advantage. \nJava Certification is an added advantage.\nCertification in Power Platform development is an added advantage.\nRelevant 5 - 7 years’ experience in the entire Software Development (SDLC) environment.\nExperience in writing Application Integration Programs.\nExperience in Unified Modelling Language (UML).\nExperience in the development and implementation of Power Platform solutions.\nExperience with API integration (RESTful APIs).\nTechnical and Behavioral Competencies Architecture.\nExposure to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.\nUnderstanding of relational databases.\nUnderstanding version control systems, e.g. Git.\nKnowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
