We recognize and value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.\nJob Summary\nThe Mechanic is responsible for the repair, servicing, and maintenance of company-owned vehicles and equipment, including diesel trucks, lifts, trailers, and small engines.\nEssential Functions & Duties\nPerform basic mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and servicing of company equipment as assigned.\nAssist with inspections to ensure the equipment is safe and properly serviced.\nComplete equipment check sheets and document work performed accurately.\nSupport inventory management by tracking shop supplies, parts, and tools.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.\nAdhere to company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.\nAssist with loading/unloading equipment or parts as needed.\nPerform hydraulic, electrical, welding, and fabrication basics.\nPerform other duties as assigned by Branch Management.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.\nAbility to climb, kneel, bend, and work in a variety of positions on and around heavy equipment.\nComfortable working in varied weather conditions and around machinery with moving parts, chemicals, and petroleum products.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.\nWillingness to learn and grow mechanical knowledge.\nBasic knowledge of tools and shop equipment preferred.\nAbility to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or on-call shifts.\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPrevious experience working with mechanical equipment, automotive repair, or shop environment preferred, but not required.\nBasic understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, or welding is a plus.\nValid driver’s license with a safe driving record required;
