And as Assistant Site Manager, you’ll be part of a team that’s doing incredible things - for ourselves, for the communities we support, and for a truly sustainable future.\nYour new role\nTo organise the day to day running of the site and to supervise all trades to ensure a high quality of work. Managing employees on site, keeping paperwork up to date, including time sheets, allocation sheets, dayworks etc. Following all safety procedures in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Plan. Overseeing setting out to ensure it is carried out efficiently, accurately and in accordance with the Group’s procedures, and through accurate record keeping.\nDUTIES:\nThrough progress meetings, monitor performance and co-ordinate on-site activities.\nUnderstand subcontract obligations ‘’Theirs’’ and ‘’Ours’’\nProduce short-term weekly programmes for their section and subordinates’ section in line with overall contract programme requirements\nEnsure accurate daily records (diaries, labour, and material returns) are kept.\nEnsure inspection and test plans are written and understood for all site operation and maintain ongoing checks\nEnsure that weekly production outputs are recorded and passed onto the Site Agent/Quantity Surveyor\nRecord all changes instructed by the Design Team including change notes, CVI Proforma Sheets\nMonitor project and individual targets given to subordinates through team meetings\nProduce record sheets/change notes or similar to assist Site Manager/Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor\nMaintain up-to-date drawing registers and co-ordinate drawings between subcontractors under their responsibility\nEnsure materials, plant, and equipment is ordered and controlled in line with the project specific prelims and bills of quantities.\nMonitor and report all unbudgeted costs to the Site Agent/Quantity Surveyor\nMonitor resources, labour, and plant in line with project constraints.\nHealth and Safety\nProduce Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all work activities under their control.\nMonitor the requirements of the Group’s Health and Safety procedures and maintain safety records for all work activities under their control\nEnsure Method Statements comply with Group requirement where asked to check\nUnderstand their obligations under the current Health and Safety legislation \nQUALIFICATIONS/RELEVANT INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE:\nPrevious experience in the construction industry. \nExperience in dealing with Architects, Engineers, Clients, Sub-contractors\nAbility to communicate with staff at all levels.\nHealth and safety qualification.
