Not only that, but you would be part of an amazing, growing, and agile R&D Software Development Team, reporting to a team lead who is there to support and guide you every step of the way.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code with a special focus on complex algorithms.\n\nIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.\n\nHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.\n\nWorking with other departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.\n\nAnalyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.\n\nConsulting with engineering staff to evaluate software hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.\n\nGive direction to software programming and documentation development.\n\nRequirements\nMSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\nMinimum of 5 years' experience as a C++ software developer with current knowledge of (advanced) C++ 17/20 standards.\n\nExtensive experience developing and deploying software on Linux, with a strong grasp of multithreaded code and real-time environments.\n\nProficiency in Qt and experience with complex algorithms (e.g., image processing or tracking) with real-time performance.\n\nKnowledge of PostgreSQL databases, JSON, and XML.\n\nFamiliarity with low-level hardware interactions and unit testing using GoogleTest.\n\nExperience with Bitbucket (or similar), Jira, Qt Creator and CI/CD (Jenkins).\n\nSolid understanding of the SDLC and experience in Agile/Scrum environments.\n\nExcellent communication in English (Dutch proficiency is a plus).\n\nNice to have\nExperience with radar systems or a similar industry.\n\nExperience with embedded systems design.\n\nN.B.
