To put it in simple terms, they will develop mind blowing radar tech!\nYour work will be crucial as equipping our radars with the best performing software also creates a better functioning product to our customers, and increases safety too.\nNot only that, but you will be part of an amazing growing and Agile I&D Software Engineering Team, reporting directly to the team lead, who is there to support and guide you.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.\n\nIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.\n\nHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.\n\nWorking with other departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.\n\nAnalyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.\n\nConsulting with engineering staff to evaluate software hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.\n\nGive direction to software programming and documentation development.\n\nRequirements\nBA/MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.\n\nA minimum of 5 years' experience as a C++ Software Developer and with current knowledge of (advanced) C++ 17/20 standards.\n\nExtensive experience in developing and deploying software on Linux.\n\nKnowledge of multithreaded code, real-time environments and Qt.\n\nKnowledge of PostgreSQL databases, JSON and XML.\n\nFamiliarity with low-level hardware interactions.\n\nAbility to develop unit tests of code components using GoogleTest.\n\nExperience with Bitbucket or similar version control systems, Jira and Qt Creator.\n\nStrong understanding of the software development life-cycle and familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins).\n\nExperience with development methodologies like Agile/Scrum.\n\nGood communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with radar systems or a similar industry.\n\nExperience with embedded systems design.\n\nN.B.
