In this hybrid role based in our San Mateo headquarters, you will take a strong quantitative and analytical stance on building and optimizing our equity operating system. Joining our Total Rewards team, you will be instrumental in executing our equity compensation programs while ensuring Roblox's offerings are competitive, meaningful, and aligned with business priorities. If you are someone who enjoys working with large datasets, modeling complex financial scenarios, and building innovative equity strategies, this job is for you.\nYou Will:\nPlay a key role in managing and scaling our equity compensation programs, including monthly new hire grant preparation, equity budgeting, burn rate tracking, and dilution modeling.\nSupport the research, ongoing development, and maintenance of equity programs and policies to ensure they remain highly competitive, compliant, and aligned with market trends.\nApply your expertise in quantitative analysis to see beyond the numbers; build intelligence through reporting to inform, influence, and execute critical business decisions.\nDevelop complex compensation models, statistical analyses, and automated dashboards to monitor equity metrics, ensuring the highest level of data integrity and validity.\nDevelop clear, impactful communication materials to educate participants and business leaders on new equity programs, structural changes, and the value of their equity.\nCollaborate deeply with internal partners (Finance, Legal, Accounting, Stock Admin) and external vendors to manage complex equity inquiries and escalations.\nWork in a culture of continuous analytics, consistently monitoring current programs to identify areas for workflow automation and strategic improvement.\nYou Have:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of corporate and/or consulting compensation-related experience, ideally within the technology sector or high-growth public companies.\nDeep understanding of the design, mechanics, and structure of public company equity plans (e.g., RSUs, PSUs, Stock Options, new hire equity design, and annual refresh programs).\nDirect, hands-on experience managing equity budgeting, forecasting, run-rate, and dilution modeling.\nExceptional analytical skills with expert-level proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; ability to perform complex scenario modeling and handle massive datasets.\nDemonstrated experience effectively translating complex equity concepts and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.\nA highly detail-driven mindset with an emphasis on zero-defect accuracy, speed of execution, and the ability to connect granular data to the broader strategic picture.\nFor roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
