This design & creative leader will be instrumental in helping Incubator participants find the right rich game dynamics for their games, whether these creators come from the Roblox creator community or the off-platform traditional game community. The ideal candidate has a history of creative leadership (including design) across a variety of games, along with a broad knowledge of design elements and their application in successful games across the industry. You will report to the Senior Lead, Incubator. \nYou will:\nOwn design feedback to all (external) Incubator creators\nOversee group feedback on specific builds and milestones\nIdeate on alchemy of Roblox and traditional success to help creators find innovation and value in their games \nFoster creator-to-creator community interactions, both individually and by creating sustainable processes and partnerships\nBuild and execute effective design related workflows between internal disciplines and Roblox creators \nCollaborate cross-functionally (production, product, analytics, engineering, marketing, partnerships and more) to facilitate design related deliverables and deadlines \nWork with marketing and creative teams to devise and execute on GTM strategies \nSupport analytics to set up goals, measure impact, and increase growth KPIs\nHelp the novel games initiative across non-Incubator projects as needed\nYou have:\n15+ years of creative or game design experience with proven track record of conceptualizing, creating, guiding and refining game designs\nAbility to adapt and learn new game and platform dynamics, in order to demonstrate expertise in both traditional and Roblox game design\nSuperb written and verbal communication skills that guide and convince\nExperience leading cross-functional execution with various teams including production, product, analytics, engineering, marketing, partnerships and more\nDomain experience with UGC, social and gaming; ability to understand and design for player behavior, expectations and trends \nUnderstanding of game design, principles and mechanics\nExperience working with 3rd party creators and developers \nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, agile and iterative development environment \nAbility to adapt to changing circumstances and ambiguity \nExcellent organization skills\nFor roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
