One of the areas is our flagship Team Create product, which enables creators to collaborate in real time with friends and coworkers. Just as important is the Creation Platform underneath it: the APIs and services that power external agents through MCP, along with Build on Roblox and other agentic products. You will be solving problems in scale, architecture, and design to build software that supports larger and better collaboration between teams of developers, artists, and the agents they bring into the loop. Join us in our mission to make collaborative development performant, social, and most of all fun.\nYou Will:\nHelp and understand the needs of the community that uses our software, from beginning artists to professional scripters and designers.\nTake ownership and responsibility for designing, building, testing, and deploying services within the Roblox ecosystem.\nOwn the Creation Platform that powers agentic products, including the APIs and services that agents reach through MCP.\nBe a technical bar-raiser for high code quality, architectural designs, and long-term planning along with mentoring fellow engineers on the team.\nYou Have\nExperience architecting, designing and leading implementation of a wide array of software products\nExperience supporting mission-critical applications at scale\nProficiency in C#, C++, Java, Python or similar programming languages\nFamiliarity with agentic systems, harnesses and models\nYou Are:\nAn outstanding software engineer with 7+ years shipping high complexity code\nUnderstanding of SQL and NoSQL databases at scale\nYou understand the components required to build modern large-scale infrastructure. You can recommend one route versus another and bring engineers to an agreement. \nComfortable designing platforms and APIs that other products, including AI agents, build on top of. Familiarity with MCP or similar agent tooling is a plus.\nFor roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
