This team is building a seamless and engaging user interface that facilitates intuitive interactions, and maintains high performance & reliability standards. \nWe're hiring an exceptional Senior iOS engineer to help us push the bar even higher.\nYou will:\nShape & improve the iOS experience on Roblox\nLead architecture and implementation on a large, evolving Swift/Objective-C codebase\nPush the platform forward by adopting the latest iOS, hardware, and iOS capabilities.\nPartner deeply with product, design, and data science\nYou have:\n3+ years of leading the design and delivery of mobile features at scale.\nBS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\nDeep, hands-on expertise in Swift and Objective-C, with a real point of view on modern iOS architecture (Swift Concurrency, SwiftUI/UIKit interop, modularization).\nExperience working in very large codebases with many contributors. You know how to ship safely, instrument well, and keep build times sane.\nStrong product sense. You can tell the difference between an interaction that's correct and one that feels right, and you fight for the latter.\nExcellent judgment under ambiguity\nFor roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
