Continuous integration/delivery, security, operational stability, and observability along with instilling best practices within the organization are primary focus areas.\n\nRoles & Responsibilities:\n\n- Design, build, test, and maintain our AWS infrastructure\n\n- Create, maintain, and participate in active monitoring of said infrastructure\n\n- Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline and automate development, build, and deployment of our web services\n\n- Triage production issues in collaboration with engineering teams\n\n- Participate in on-call rotations, project planning, code review, and technical design\n\n- Identify and effectively communicate opportunities for improvement both within the team and external teams\n\n- Design and evangelize DevOps processes for continuous improvements\n\nRequirements:\n\n- Strong Linux & networking fundamentals\n\n- Strong scripting and automation mindset.\n\n- Must have worked in an Agile SDLC setup.\n\n- Ability in at least one or more general purpose languages such as Python and Shell Scripting. Open to polyglot other languages as and when needed.\n\n- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with global team.\n\n- AWS Security and remediation expertise.\n\n- Ability to learn, build, and debug other programming languages.\n\n- Hands on Containerization tools knowledge like docker, kubernetes, helm, ECS.\n\n- Expert in AWS DevOps Architecture S3, Serverless (lambda, dynamodb, fargate), ALBs/NLBs, Global Accelerators, RDS, Cloudfront, Route53, ECS, EKS, Cost Explorer, IAM, etc.\n\n- IAC/Provisioner experience; Terraform must-have. CloudFormation, Chef or Ansible is a plus.\n\n- CI/CD knowledge with hands-on implementation experience. GitHub Actions and workflows knowledge is a plus.\n\n- Git/GitHub administration.\n\nExperience:\n\n- 5+ years experience across two or more of the following: web application development, Linux administration, networking, cloud security, systems architecture, test automation, and/or database administration\n\n- 3+ years building and maintaining software systems with AWS.\n\n- 3+ years building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in tools such as GitHub Actions.\n\n- Experience maintaining AWS RDS. Exposure to Mongo Atlas Architecture is a plus.\n\n- Proven expert experience with Terraform. Good to have knowledge on Ansible and CloudFormation.\n\n- Exposure to maintaining OpenSearch clusters.\n\n- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools and observability pipeline integration AWS CloudWatch, Datadog exposure preferred.
