Backed by Y Combinator (S25) and NVIDIA Inception, our San Francisco lab puts 60+ robot platforms within reach and powers one of the largest real-robot datasets anywhere. We're building the infrastructure layer for physical AI.\nAbout the role We're looking for an Operations Associate to run and scale the day-to-day operations of a fast-growing robotics company from the ground up. You'll work directly with leadership across everything it takes to keep the lab running - people operations, logistics, events, vendors, and internal systems - and own the foundation a startup is built on. This is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one.\nWhat you'll do\nManage lab logistics - inventory, shipping/receiving, and hardware tracking across 60+ robot platforms\nCoordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners\nOwn facilities and keep the lab running smoothly day to day\nHandle finance and administrative tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and record-keeping\nPlan and run culture and community events, including our monthly community meetups\nBuild and document operational and people-ops processes as we scale\nWhat we're looking for\nBachelor's degree (any major - we care more about drive than field of study)\nStrong organization and communication skills, and discretion with sensitive information\nA proactive, \"write it down and figure it out\" mindset\nComfort juggling multiple workstreams and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment\nGenuine interest in startups, robotics, or AI is a plus\nAble to work on-site in San Francisco\nWhy join us You'll shape how a YC-backed robotics company runs and scales, work alongside engineers and researchers building real robots, and gain broad operations experience across people, logistics, and events that you can't get at a big company. As one of our early operations hires, you'll have real ownership and a direct line to leadership.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2044,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Industrial Robotics"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-05T12:37:44Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":27,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.446,"p_room":0.6,"age_days":52,"expected_fill_days":59,"reasons":["conf:3","win:late","crowd:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-28T05:59:10Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/roboticscenter-operations-intern","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/roboticscenter-operations-intern.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-28T06:52:53Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":9241,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-29T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":2069},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=2069"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Froboticscenter-operations-intern"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Froboticscenter-operations-intern"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Froboticscenter-operations-intern"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/roboticscenter-operations-intern\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Froboticscenter-operations-intern"}]}
