We are here to turn AI into working systems, measurable outcomes and repeatable transformation programs. \nWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Application QA to join our growing Quality Engineering team. \nAs a Senior QA, you will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, DevOps Engineers and Business Stakeholders to deliver robust, reliable and high-quality software. You will contribute to the design and execution of testing strategies, build and maintain automation frameworks, participate in release activities, and help continuously improve our overall quality engineering capability. \nThis is a highly hands-on role requiring excellent technical skills, strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to quality. \nKey Responsibilities \n1. Quality Engineering & Test Strategy \nContribute to the definition and continuous improvement of QA strategy, testing standards and quality engineering practices. \nPromote Shift-Left testing by participating in requirements analysis, backlog refinement and solution design sessions. \nReview business and technical requirements to ensure they are testable and complete. \nIdentify quality risks early and recommend mitigation strategies. \n 2. Manual Testing \nPlan, perform and document structured exploratory testing. \nValidate business processes, workflows and application behaviour. \nExecute testing across multiple environments and browsers where applicable. \nEnsure all testing evidence is accurately recorded. \n 3. Database and Migration Testing \nCreate snapshots to compare data before and after migration. \nDesign and execute queries to validate data quality. \n4. Test Planning & Delivery \nParticipate in Sprint Planning, backlog refinement and estimation sessions. \nPrepare test plans, test scenarios and execution schedules. \nEstimate testing effort for new functionality. \nMaintain full traceability between requirements, test cases and defects. \nSupport delivery planning across multiple releases. \n5. Defect Management \nIdentify, document and manage software defects throughout their lifecycle. \nPerform root cause analysis alongside development teams. \nValidate defect fixes and regression impacts. \nEnsure defects contain sufficient evidence for efficient investigation. \nMonitor defect trends and recommend process improvements. \n6. CI/CD & DevOps \nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. \nSupport continuous testing practices. \nExecute automated smoke tests following deployments. \nHelp improve deployment quality through automation. \n 7. Test Data & Environment Management \nPrepare and maintain appropriate test data. \nEnsure data integrity throughout testing. \n8. Non-Functional Testing Support \nSupport and contribute to: \nPerformance Testing \nLoad Testing \nAccessibility Testing \nSecurity Testing \nWorking alongside specialist teams where required. \n9. Agile Delivery \nActively participate in Agile ceremonies. \nCollaborate with cross-functional delivery teams. \nProvide regular updates on testing progress and quality risks. \nPromote quality ownership across the delivery team. \n10. Continuous Improvement \nRecommend improvements to testing processes, tools and frameworks. \nContribute to QA standards and documentation. \nMentor junior QA engineers. \nShare knowledge and best practices across the team. \nPromote a quality-first engineering culture. \nRequired Skills & Experience \nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \n5+ years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Engineering. \nExcellent manual testing skills across enterprise applications. \nStrong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. \nDesiredSkills & Experience \nProven experience developing automation frameworks from scratch. \nAdvanced programming skills. \nExperience testing non-deterministic applications. \nExperience with Appian, Mendix or other low-code platforms. \nExperience with Git, GitHub or similar version control systems. \nExperience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines. \nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
