We are here to turn AI into working systems, measurable outcomes and repeatable transformation programs. \nABOUT THE ROLE \nWe are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to design, develop and deliver enterprise-scale automation solutions using UiPath, Automation Anywhere and Python. This is a genuinely hands-on, multi-platform role: you will actively build solutions in all three technologies, not simply oversee delivery. \nYou will own technical delivery from design and development through testing, deployment and optimisation, working with clients and distributed delivery teams. This is a UK-based remote position with occasional travel for client engagements, project workshops and team activities. \nAs an L3 engineer, you will tackle complex technical problems independently, contribute to code quality and engineering standards, and support less experienced colleagues without being expected to act as a dedicated people manager. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES \nDesign, develop, testand deploy robust automation solutions using UiPath, Automation Anywhere A360 and Python. \nOwn technical delivery across the automation lifecycle, including solution design, documentation, releaseand post-deployment optimisation. \nBuild integrations with REST APIs, databasesand enterprise applications; create maintainable Python applications and components beyond basic scripting. \nDevelop reusable components and frameworks, applying secure coding, exception handling, loggingand operational monitoring practices. \nDiagnose and resolve complex automation failures, integration issuesand performance bottlenecks in development and production. \nApply engineering standards across Git, peer review, automated testingand CI/CD; contribute to reliable deployments. \nCollaborate with architects, technical leads, analystsand clients to translate business needs into practical technical solutions. \nSupport effort estimation, technical documentation, knowledge sharingand mentoring for junior and mid-level engineers. \nKeep current with automation technologies and identifypractical opportunities to improve delivery and client outcomes. \nMUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES \n4+ years of hands-on experience designing, developingand delivering RPA or intelligent automation solutions; this does not mean four years in each individual technology. \nStrong hands-on UiPath development experience, including Studio, Orchestrator and REFramework. \nStrong hands-on Automation Anywhere development experience, particularly Automation 360 (A360) and Control Room. \nStrong practical Python development capability beyond basic scripting, including maintainable code, applications, integrationsor reusable components. \nDemonstrable experience actively developing solutions across UiPath, Automation Anywhere and Python. \nExperience owning solutions from technical design and development through testing, deploymentand support. \nSolid software engineering foundations, including debugging, exception handling, reusable codeand testing. \nExperience with REST APIs, SQL/databases, JSON, Gitand enterprise-system integration. \nAbility to investigate complex problems, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and work independently in distributed teams. \nBased in the UK and willing to travel occasionally for client engagements, project workshopsand internal collaboration. \nNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES \nUiPath Advanced RPA Developer or equivalent certification; Automation Anywhere Advanced or Master RPA Professional certification. \nExperience with Power Automate, Power Platform or other automation technologies. \nExperience integrating with SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamicsor similar enterprise applications. \nFamiliarity with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud and CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. \nExperience with intelligent document processing, such as UiPath Document Understanding or Azure Document Intelligence. \nExposure to generative AI, Agentic AIor AI-enabled automation use cases. \nExperience in consultancy, client-facing deliveryor Agile teams. \nIDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE \nYou are a pragmatic, hands-on engineer who enjoys building reliable solutions and solving difficult problems. You can move confidently between UiPath, Automation Anywhere and Python, take ownership with limited supervision, work directly with clients, write clear and maintainable code, and share knowledge with colleagues.
