Help us redefine the very foundation of robotics and\nbuild robots that are smart, safe, and flexible: fully autonomous and truly collaborative.\nAs a Solutions Engineer at Robust.AI, you will join a small, fast-paced team responsible\nfor designing robotic solutions for warehouse and fulfillment operations. You will work\nclosely with Sales and directly with prospective and existing customers to understand\ntheir operations, analyze data, develop system concepts, and demonstrate how\nRobust.AI's AMR, Carter, can improve their business.\nThis role combines warehouse engineering, data analysis, simulation, and customer\nengagement. You will help develop solutions throughout the sales cycle, from initial\ndiscovery and site visits through system design, simulation, proposal development, and\ntechnical validation.\nWe are looking for someone who enjoys solving open-ended engineering problems, can\nwork across multiple customer projects, and is comfortable turning imperfect real-world\ninformation into practical, data-driven solutions.\nMain Responsibilities\nAnalyze customer operational data to understand order profiles, SKU profiles\nthroughput requirements, labor productivity, and other inputs required for design.\nDevelop AMR solutions including workflows, facility layouts, cart configurations,\nlabor requirements, productivity estimates, and descriptions of operation.\nBuild and analyze discrete-event simulations to validate system performance,\nevaluate design alternatives, identify bottlenecks, and support fleet sizing.\nDevelop and modify warehouse layouts using AutoCAD.\nParticipate in customer discovery calls, technical discussions, site visits, and\nfacility walkthroughs to understand current operations and validate solution\nassumptions.\nIdentify missing /or inconsistent data, develop engineering assumptions, and\nclearly document the inputs and methods behind solution recommendations.\nPartner with Sales to develop proposals, presentations, ROI analyses, and other\nmaterials that communicate the operational/business value of Robust.AI solutions.\nSupport customer demonstrations, technical reviews, and other engagements\nthroughout the sales process.\nCollaborate with Product, Software, Deployment, and Engineering teams to\nevaluate technical requirements, product capabilities, implementation\nconsiderations, and potential solution risks.\nDevelop and improve internal analytical tools, simulation models, and processes\nthat make solution development faster, more consistent, and scalable.\nManage multiple customer projects concurrently and prioritize work based on\ndeadlines and business needs.\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations\nResearch, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.\nStrong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, with the ability to work\nwith large and imperfect real-world datasets.\n1-4 years of experience in industrial engineering, supply chain, warehouse\noperations, automation, data science, or a related field.\nExperience analyzing data using tools such as Excel, Python, SQL, or Power BI.\nAbility to clearly communicate technical concepts, assumptions, and analytical\nresults to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nUnderstanding of warehouse or manufacturing operations, material flow,\nthroughput, capacity, and labor productivity.\nExperience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software for facility layouts.\nAbility to manage multiple projects concurrently and work effectively in a fast-\npaced environment.\nWillingness to travel up to 20-30% for customer site visits, proposal reviews,\ndemonstrations, and post-deployment support.\nNice to Have\nExperience with warehouse automation, including AMRs, AGVs, goods-to-person\nsystems, conveyor, sortation, or other material-handling technologies.\nExperience with discrete-event simulation software, preferably FlexSim.\nStrong Python skills for data processing, visualization, simulation, optimization, or\nengineering tool development.\nFamiliarity with warehouse optimization techniques such as batch picking,\nzoning, order clustering, SKU slotting, and labor planning.\nFamiliarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), warehouse control\nsystems (WCS), and other logistics software.\nExperience developing automation concepts, productivity models, capacity\nmodels, or ROI analyses.\nExperience working directly with customers in a technical, consulting, pre-sales, or\nproject environment.\nFluency in Spanish or
