decisions around databases, APIs, caching, messaging, and system architecture.\nParticipate in architecture and design discussions and contribute to technical documentation.\nDatabases:\nWork extensively with relational and NoSQL databases.\nDesign efficient schemas, queries, indexes, and data access patterns.\nUnderstand database scalability, performance optimisation, consistency, and reliability.\nEngineering and Collaboration:\nWrite clean, maintainable, production-quality code.\nDevelop unit, integration, and performance tests.\nParticipate in code reviews and technical discussions.\nCollaborate with frontend/mobile engineers and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end product functionality.\nContribute to CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and engineering best practices.\nRequirements:\n6+ years of backend software development experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with Golang.\nMinimum 1+ year of practical Golang experience is mandatory.\nStrong experience with system design and distributed systems.\nStrong understanding of relational databases and NoSQL databases.\nExperience building REST and/or GraphQL APIs.\nExperience with microservices and event-driven architecture.\nExperience with queues, messaging systems, or asynchronous processing.\nGood understanding of scalability, performance, reliability, and fault tolerance.\nFamiliarity with at least one cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nStrong Java backend engineers can also be considered only if they have at least 1 year of hands-on Golang experience.\nCandidates with less than 1 year of Go experience will not be considered.\nThe selected candidate should be comfortable working primarily with Golang.\nNice to Have:\nExperience in fintech, payments, banking, or transaction-heavy systems.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.\nExperience building highly available and fault-tolerant systems.\nExperience working with financial transactions, payment workflows, or money movement
