This customer-facing role combines enterprise networking expertise, technical leadership, service ownership, and consultancy.\nYou will be the primary technical point of contact, providing guidance across operational support, network transformation projects, and strategic planning. A key focus of the role will be supporting the customer's transition from a Cisco-based environment to Juniper Mist managed networking while ensuring the performance, resilience, and security of the existing network estate.\nKey Responsibilities\nAct as the trusted technical advisor and primary escalation point for a major customer.\nLead technical discussions, workshops, service reviews, and governance meetings.\nOversee network operations, service performance, resilience, and security.\nManage complex technical escalations and coordinate resolution activities.\nDrive service improvement initiatives and maintain technical standards.\nSupport network transformation, refresh, and migration programmes.\nContribute to architecture decisions, technology roadmaps, and technical governance.\nProduce technical reports, risk assessments, and service improvement plans.\nMentor engineers and share networking best practices across teams.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nStrong Cisco enterprise networking experience.\nAdvanced knowledge of routing, switching, and wireless networking.\nExperience supporting complex enterprise or campus network environments.\nCisco ISE and Network Access Control (NAC) expertise.\nStrong troubleshooting and technical escalation skills.\nExperience supporting WAN, LAN, and wireless infrastructures.\nUnderstanding of network security principles and best practice.\nExperience contributing to network migrations, refreshes, or transformation programmes.\nKnowledge of DNS, DHCP, and network monitoring tools.\nExperience as a technical lead, focal engineer, consultant, or technical account owner.\nExperience working within a Managed Services environment.\nExperience engaging with senior customer stakeholders.\n3-5 years' experience in a 3rd Line Infrastructure or similar technical role.\nDesirable\nJuniper networking technologies and Juniper Mist.\nAruba networking technologies.\nInfoblox DDI solutions.\nSoftware Defined Networking (SDN).\nHigher Education or Public Sector experience.\nProfessional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, or equivalent.\nWhat We're Looking For\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.\nA proactive approach to service improvement and technical leadership.\nCommercial awareness and understanding of Managed Services delivery.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and technical escalations effective\nRoc is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
