Each customer will be extended a sincere, pleasant greeting and thanked when the transaction is completed. Always using proper customer service at time of delivery.\nEffectively communicate any problems and issues with customers’ orders to deliveries at time of delivery.\nCommunicate any delivery schedule changes (late or early) with customers in a timely fashion.\nCommit to the “Golden Rule” and work with other associates to build a strong e-commerce team.\nAchieve the highest associate morale in the industry by working in a style that is Respectful, Supportive, and Totally Team Oriented (RSTO).\nCoordinate orders and deliveries with shopping manager.\nStay in constant contact with the shopping manager in case of problems with deliveries or delivery times.\nCoordinate customer orders from all temperature zones to the customer’s doors, and beyond upon customer request, in a timely fashion.\nWork efficiently and at an acceptable pace; making timely and organized deliveries.\nEffectively insure proper storage and shipping of orders limiting shrink and damaged goods.\nResponsible for notifying the shopping manager of customer complaints, security problems and product problems.\nCommunicate needs and problems to the store manager and cooperating with store manager and department specialists to optimize the picking and delivery system.\nObey the laws and rules of the road.\nBe safety conscious and correct or report any unsafe conditions you observe.\nReport any damage, delivery vehicle problems, or property damage caused by vehicle or delivery equipment immediately with shopping manager or store manager in a timely fashion.\nMaintain a neat and clean delivery vehicle in proper working order.\nKeep accurate vehicle gas, service, temperature, and inspection logs.\nPracticing good sanitation, safe food handling, neat housekeeping, proper hand washing, and food storage.\nPractice the “Cleaner’s Creed” and proper sanitation procedures.\nSecondary Job Functions:\nNotify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark downs or property defacement.\nSuccessful completion of the onboarding/e-learnings and checklist within 30 days of hire/entering the department.\nOther duties assigned by management.\nPhysical Demands: (per work day)\nThe physical demands and safety risk factors of the job listed below may occur during each work shift and are listed according to their frequency.\nPhysical Demands\nFrequency\nCrawling.\n0% (N) Never\nPushing and pulling up to 400 lbs, climbing up to 8 feet, and kneeling.\n1-33% (O) Occasionally\nSitting, carrying and lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, balancing, stooping, and reaching at waist or overhead.\n34-66% (F) Frequently\nStanding or walking on tile or concrete, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, seeing, hearing, and smelling\n67-100% (C) Continuously\nSafety Risk Factors\nFrequency\nLoud noise, cluttered floor surface, contact with skin irritant, toxic exposure (see material safety data sheet), nuisance dust, fumes, sprays, and hazardous cleaning solutions.\n1-33% (O) Occasionally\nTwisting of back and neck, slippery floor surface, and contact with sharp objects.\n34-66% (F) Frequently\nHazardous equipment (mechanical moving parts).\n67-100% (C) Continuously\nMachines, tools, and equipment utilized:\nDelivery van, totes, GPS, cell phones, delivery equipment (two wheelers and/or u-boats).\nRepetitive Action:\nContinuous movement of entire body.\nWorking Conditions: Working environment is inside and outside, and may include exposure to cold and hot temperatures.\nHiring Range: In accordance with MA Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
