Go out of your way to satisfy any request for assistance and take customer to item located within the store. \nAssist customers in retrieving items from inaccessible areas or in obtaining products that are either located in the back room or that they may have difficulty in handling.\nObserve all store rules and company policies.\nBe safety conscious and correct any unsafe conditions you observe.\nObserve shift operating hours at all times as scheduled or assigned by store manager.\nAdhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations.\nCarry out various assignments made by store manager.\nFrequent sweeping and mopping of entire store and periodic cleaning of restrooms, break room, and other areas.\nDaily washing of sales floor and deep cleaning of refrigerated cases.\nAssist departments with weekly cleaning jobs like shelves, display bases, cases, etc.\nMaintain bottle returns in courtesy booth and storage areas.\nOther cleaning and minor repair jobs to keep the store the “cleanest in the industry”.\nPractice the “Cleaner’s Creed” and proper sanitation procedures to help keep the entire store neat and clean.\nHandle damaged and spoiled products according to company policy and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods.\nComply fully with all safety policies and procedures.\nExercise proper safety practices when lifting or moving deliveries or using equipment.\nMaintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress code. \nSecondary Job Functions:\nOccasional calls to the front end to help assist during busy times.\nNotify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark downs or property defacement.\nSuccessful completion of the onboarding/e-learnings and checklist within 30 days of hire/entering the department.\nOther duties assigned by management.\nPhysical Demands: (per work day)\nThe physical demands and safety risk factors of the job listed below may occur during each work shift and are listed according to their frequency.\nPhysical Demands\nFrequency\nSitting, pushing and pulling up to 250 lbs, climbing up to 8 feet, kneeling, and crouching.\n1-33% (O) Occasionally\nCarrying and lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, balancing, stooping, and reaching at waist or overhead.\n34-66% (F) Frequently\nStanding or walking on tile or concrete, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, seeing, hearing, and smelling.\n67-100% (C) Continuously\nSafety Risk Factors\nFrequency\nLoud noise, cluttered floor surface, contact with skin irritants, toxic exposure (see material safety data sheet) nuisance dust, fumes, and sprays, and hazardous cleaning solutions.\n1-33% (O) Occasionally\nTwisting of back and neck, slippery floor surface, and contact with sharp objects.\n34-66% (F) Frequently\nHazardous equipment (mechanical moving parts).\n67-100% (C) Continuously\nMachines, tools, and equipment utilized:\nMop, broom, vacuum, maintenance cart, other cleaning supplies and equipment.\nRepetitive Action:\nContinuous movement of entire body.\nWorking Conditions: Working environment is inside and outside, and may include exposure to cold and hot temperatures in wet or humid environments.\nHiring Range: In accordance with MA Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
