Join Roche, where every voice matters.\nThe Position\nAs a Cloud Engineer - Data Platforms, you will play a vital role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our search platform on AWS. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and automation will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our enterprise search solution\nJob Responsibilities\nWork with the Cloud Devops Enterprise Search team to collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and external teams.\n\nFocus on priorities, milestones and deliverables as per direction of the product management team.\n\nContribute to the Cloud Devops Enterprise Search team on technical implementations and decisions.\n\nWork to meet SLAs on customer deployments in a global environment.\n\nBe part of the technical solution team focusing on maintaining service since they are live by measuring and monitoring availability and overall system health and improving the reliability of the IT Infrastructure.\n\nCollaborate with clients, other IT departments and managed service suppliers in the design and delivery of Cloud IT Solutions.\n\nTroubleshooting and root cause analysis.\n\nQualifications\nEducation / Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience in information technology environment (networking, infrastructure, database).\n\nYou will bring +5 years of relevant work experience in one or more multinational work environments (e.g. healthcare industry experience is a plus)\n\nTechnical Skills\nRecent experience/exposure designing, implementing, operating infrastructure or designing hybrid multi cloud solutions in Public Cloud Platforms (AWS and Azure).\n\nExperience with containers and serverless AWS services: EKS, Lambda, AWS ECR.\n\nCloud Networking experience with VPC subnets, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, Network Firewall.\n\nApplication Networking experience with AWS API Gateway, NLB/ALB.\n\nExperience with Grafana for Cloud observability.\n\nDevOps Pipeline Automation: Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible.\n\nExperience with Cloudformation, Terraform, Python.\n\nExperience with FinOps for cloud cost optimization.\n\nExperience with development of AI pipelines is preferable.\n\nAdditional Qualifications will be a plus\nPreferred to be certified AWS Architect Professional/DevOps, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent working knowledge on AWS and Azure environments.\n\nKnowledge of data visualization tools ( i.e. Tableau).\n\nExperience with observability tools (i.e. ElasticSearch,)\n\nExperience with modern tools in the Agile Software Development Life Cycle.\n\nExperience with Version Control Systems (GitHub, Git, Stash/Bitbucket)\n\nExperience with knowledge management systems ( i.e. Confluence, Google Docs).\n\nExperience on development workflow ( i.e. JIRA)\n\nThis vacancy will remain open until August 20.\nTo ensure a fair selection process, applications will be reviewed and candidates will be shortlisted only after that date\nWho we are\nA healthier future drives us to innovate.
