Join Roche, where every voice matters.\nThe Position\n#Job Description:\nThe ERP - SAP IT consultant leads independently complex SAP solution delivery from a technical standpoint. This role is responsible for the specification of the architecture and functionality a global or local IT solutions..\nIn addition, they advise business and IT stakeholders on technical topics and work alongside IT and business colleagues to drive Idea-to-Requirement and Requirement-to-Implementation processes in a technical consulting role.\nThis IT expert role will work within the ERP Product configuration and Sustainability team. This position includes the below mentioned tasks and responsibilities with main focus onSAP Product and REACH Compliance, SAP Product Safety and/or SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance Software Solutions.\nJob Responsibilities:\nSolutions/Services\nDesigns and communicates high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs.\n\nDemonstrates understanding of requirements gathering and is able to show how agreed requirements are addressed by the proposed solution\n\nInnovates and optimizes processes and methods within the domain to meet system or user requirements and develop new functionality\n\nGuides the development of, and modifications to, solution components to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices and that existing and planned solution components remain compatible\n\nLeads cross-solution architecture in the SAP environment.\n\nCoordinates and cooperates with a team of external consultants and developers for support processes, change management and DevOps setup.\n\nWorks and cooperates with a team of external consultants and developers for change and incident management processes in either Waterfall, DevOps or Agile team configurations.\n\nStandards\nApplies and implements process standards and actively participates in their introduction and rollout.\n\nObserves governance processes, highlights areas for improvement and assists in their implementation\n\nImplements appropriate framework and processes\n\nUses tools and follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\n\nMaintains appropriate documentation of tasks and activities performed as required by project and other authorities.\n\nEnsures dynamic collaboration with governance & dedicated architecture bodies\n\nSupports new and established IT solutions by following ITIL rule sets (esp. incident and service management)\n\nKnow-how\nUnderstands business processes governing the application and is able to establish strong links with other technical teams responsible for the application and product delivery.\n\nDevelops business/technical critical knowledge within the area of expertise for the function.\n\nEnsures alignment to defined technology roadmap among cross functional teams.\n\nAssists in the development of others by coaching and sharing his/her experiences and knowledge in the field of expertise.\n\nSupports the implementation of projects within the area of technical expertise, contributes to the implementation planning.\n\nWhere requested supports Maintenance and Support activities e.g. for technical implementations or Change Management processes in a Waterfall, Agile or DevOps setup.\n\nActs as IT consultant to Product Owners / Product Manager(s) (e.g. input to technical process flows, requirements, functionality gap analysis).\n\nHelps in defining testing for System landscape\n\nConsults on accessing the technical condition of solution\n\nConsults on updating lifecycle planning of solution, technology platforms and components\n\nConsults on assessing and planning changes\n\nIs responsible for requesting the IT landscape\n\nIs responsible for applying the IT landscape\n\nIs responsible for requesting the IT standard\n\nIs responsible for applying the IT standard\n\nMust-Haves :\nVery good application knowledge in: SAP Product and REACH Compliance, SAP Product Safetyand/or SAP S/4HANA for Product ComplianceSoftware Solutions.\n\n5-6 years of professional IT experience directly in the relevant SAP module(s) mentioned above.\n\nGood understanding of SAP material master.\n\nBroad experience in the area of Product Safety, Product Compliance processes and corresponding regulatory context.\n\nParticipated in at least 3 SAP implementation projects ( full cycle) in a similar role to the job description or equivalent experience.\n\nAble to lead/execute alignment meetings and discussions with business and IT stakeholders.\n\nAt least BS in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent degree and/or experience.\n\nAdvanced English reading, writing, listening and speaking.\n\nAble to work EMEA office hours.\n\nSoft Skills\nVery strong communication skills at different levels (end users, stakeholders, team leads) in an assertive and collaborative manner.\n\nAnalytical mindset, attention to detail.\n\nExcellent team player who enjoys collaboration, mentoring and knowledge sharing as well as self-learning.\n\nSpecial Requirements\nFlexibility to travel ~10%-15% of time including outside of home country\n\nWorking hours aligned with European office hours with potential shift to early morning or late afternoon to
