Drive process improvements - ensuring 'Right First Time' and directly contribute to achieving our Financial targets, all while delivering a market-leading customer experience.\nWe are offering two full-time, hybrid roles based between our Burgess Hill office and home working. Expected start date: 1st July 2027\nKey responsibilities include (Opportunity 1 - Focus on Credit Management):\nPartner with the organisation to ensure the delivery of Cash targets and manage the Accounts Receivable balance.\nResolve customer queries in a timely manner by investigating potential root causes and working with various stakeholders to facilitate permanent corrections.\nCollaborate on initiatives to establish and maintain master data standards for improved data consistency.\nProactively search for opportunities for process improvements focused on achieving 'Right First Time' outcomes, leveraging technology & automation to drive digitalisation.\nKey responsibilities include (Opportunity 2 - Focus on Customer Finance):\nSupport month end close activities in order to generate customer invoices and supporting statements.\nCollaborate with the Customer Finance team in delivering the annual customer budget and pricing uplift process.\nSales and Profitability analysis to support decision making through tenders.\nAnalyse third party quotes for consolidation into tender proposals.\nPartner with the sales team to build, review and approve their customer proposals in our Global Deal Calculator.\nProactively search for opportunities for process improvements focused on achieving 'Right First Time' outcomes, leveraging technology & automation to drive digitalisation.\nWho You Are\nOur Roche Diagnostics internship programme is a 13-months programme in Burgess Hill, Sussex, UK, designed for everyone currently searching for a placement year as part of their Finance, Business, or Accounting-related studies. We aren't looking for a finished expert; we are looking for someone with a passion for learning!\nAs an ideal candidate, you are:\nTech Curious: You have a good foundation in Excel, and you are excited about the idea of learning SAP. You have a natural interest in how new technologies like AI can make work more efficient.\nProcess Minded: You have an interest in how businesses operate, from how a customer places an order to how large-scale contracts (like our Managed Laboratory Services (MLS)) function.\nAnalytical: You are naturally curious with a systematic approach to data analysis; proactive in investigating underlying drivers, financial trends, and root causes. \nOrganised: You have strong organisational skills developed through your studies.
