By fostering an agile environment built on trust, transparency, and customer-centricity, the Finance Manager provides holistic enterprise guidance through expertise in Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Strategic Insights. As integral partners across the entire value chain, they embrace the roles of Visionary, Architect, Coach, and Catalyst (VACC) to inspire employees and steer key decisions. Ultimately, this joint accountability for new operational methods ensures the long-term sustainability and success of the affiliate as it pursues its North Star.\nThis role is for a Finance Manager, based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Reporting directly into the Caucasus Countries Lead (Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan) while still working as part of the Finance Community within the CEETRIS region, you will be a key leader in the affiliate transformation. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial results, as well as the functions of procurement, supply chain, and facility services. Your leadership will be pivotal in translating strategic vision into operational and financial excellence.\nThe Opportunity\nOversee the financial results of the affiliate, ensuring adherence to Roche Group Accounting (FGA), local accounting standards, tax, and customs.\nProactively identify key challenges and opportunities and assess their impact, while stimulating an environment that encourages smart experimentation and rapid iterations.\nDrive a simple and fit-for-purpose business planning process that captures key strategic directions and formulates a local finance strategy balancing global/regional requirements with local imperatives.\nIn collaboration with business leaders, define the strategic direction of the organization and contribute to long-term portfolio planning and resourcing strategy.\nRisk & Value Management: Navigate volatile macroeconomic environments to maintain P&L sustainability, mitigate financial risks, and identify emerging growth opportunities.\nConnects affiliate priorities with the regional and global ambition to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide priorities.\nEngage with business partners in crafting and executing value-enhancing decisions through business performance analysis (actuals vs. forecast) and generating meaningful market insights.\nOversee the affiliate procurement process, focusing on value delivery for Roche while balancing costs, service quality, compliance, and strategic partnerships.\nActively contributing beyond the affiliate and within the regional Finance Network. This includes Leading or contributing to regional and global work packages. \nEmbody VACC (Visionary, Architect, Coach, and Catalyst) leadership principles, shaping and implementing the new ways of working for the team and championing a culture that is inclusive and embraces diversity.\nWho You Are\nProven (7+ years) of finance experience and (preferably) holds a professional Accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACA, CIMA)\nEducation: University Degree preferably in Finance, Economics or in a related field, MBA is an advantage\nExperience of working in international companies is desired\nAn experienced and highly creative leader of demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and networked teams, with a proven track record of sound fiscal planning and management and ensuring financial governance\nYou possess outstanding business acumen and strategic agility, with a global strategic approach and the ability to contribute to the global Finance Community\nYou are an effective leader and coach with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, highly adept at identifying solutions and skilled at influencing and enabling decisions without formal authority\nYou would have a true interest in people development and bring in the VACC (Visionary-Architect-Catalyst-Coach) Leadership Competencies\nYou demonstrate the Roche Values of Integrity, Courage & Passion and have a proven ability to effectively lead and enable change and build strong, sustainable relationships with internal and external partners\nProfessional fluency in the English language is a must\nPlease submit your CV in English language.\nWho we are\nA healthier future drives us to innovate.
